Are all those grown men really just stood around it filming? Why would you need a video of a broken car, it's not going to move or get more broken. Or do they believe it's going to reveal itself to be a robot from another world?

who thinks his insurance should pay out? Reality is they almost certainly will to protect the banker behind it but if owned outright, why should they pay for negligence. fking bellend smile

"He had to dodge oncoming traffic, the tree stopped him from flipping"

Did anyone else get that impression? I'm pretty sure all the other cars in frame were parked laugh

What an eejit.

They're talking about a silver Lambo though. The one in the video was in grey primer surely?

The alternative being, not a very good driver. Lost control on a straight road at low speeds. Luckily he didn't have the ability to go quickly enough to hit the tree too hard.

I'm just amazed they didn't call it an Aventador.

I do love the way the spotter quoted provides the excuses for the driver.

Crashed die to cold tyres? No, simply because he was driving like a tt.
Had to dodge oncoming traffic? That traffic was minding it's own business on its side of the road so again; only because he was driving like a tt.

Thing is, there was ample space there to give it a few revs in neutral and then a tiny squirt when pulling away. The spotters get their "sick" "Huracan Performante Rev battle and launch" instagram post and he gets to go home to mummy not in tears.

I was there yesterday and mostly all the of the Lamborghini's were driven horrifically, thankfully I'd left hours before this complete idiot had the crash.

Pretty typical car show incident. 2nd gear the ECU will be letting the car have more torque so steps sideways. Nobody can actually drive any more so panic sets in. The overcorrection and crash. Unfortunately these cars and their traction control calibrations assume a basic level of ability and are surprisingly lax. They also take time to kick in sometimes and aren't infallible.

I was there yesterday. I'll start by saying it was a great event hosted by HR Owen so good on them for opening their doors and letting us all have a nosy. Lots of kids with cameras as usual at these kind of events. I thought I left when it started to get quiet, so I was surprised when I got home and saw the crash. It is worrying as there were a number of people (including me) who parked further down that road so there were always people walking up and down.

Lots of questions being asked this morning on various places. Is it a chicken and egg scenario? WOuld he have driven like that had there not been loads of spotters/instagrammers/whatever stood there filming? Of course not. Would they be there if people didn't do it and occasionally spaz out, enabling them to achieve 'Instagram fame' because their video goes viral? No of course not. So, chicken and egg.

At least they didn't have to tow it far....
