I don't think this tge gives a fk if people like him or not he just chucks out slap dash vlogs with seemingly little planning and hoards of people watch them .
If you watch the video then slag it off it doesn't matter because you've played you've watched the video which is the most valuable thing , who cares if some random person from the internet doesn't like you as long as you keep watching the vids.
This does amuse me. I have to confess I’m in a WhatsApp Group which includes TGE and he seems quite a nice chilled guy. And I’m sure he’s laughing that he’s getting views from people who are only watching so that they can come on here to moan If you watch the video then slag it off it doesn't matter because you've played you've watched the video which is the most valuable thing , who cares if some random person from the internet doesn't like you as long as you keep watching the vids.
Yet watch his vlogs about his gym company and it's like a totally different person .
Why bother putting effort into car vlogs when you can put out any old st and people still watch and subscribe .

Absolutely. It’s somewhat disheartening when I spend a couple of days making a review video and get 10k views, and then lots of YTers churn out content in 20mins and get 50+k views. However...Why bother putting effort into car vlogs when you can put out any old st and people still watch and subscribe .
Tom has admitted that there’s no point in him spending time making amazing cinematic stuff, when what works for him is what he creates - he can churn out a video messing about with Archie in his garage and get the big view numbers which is quick and easy. It’s his style and that’s what his audience likes. Same with Shmee, he does the occasional big production vid like the Mille Miglia and they don’t get anywhere near the views of his usual, hand held stuff.
YT is a fickle bh, but you just have to go with the flow.

If you start changing your content to try and win more viewers then it's a recipe for disaster , i'm guessing your older than a lot of the other youtubers and in the fickle world of vlogging the younger people seem to get the viewers ( doug de mero obviously bucks that trend )

Amusingly Doug is 8 months younger than me!But it is true that you shouldn't change from what your audience have grown supporting. If for example I dropped into doing swish glam edits tomorrow I guarantee it would be the start of a downhill spiral on my channel.

No doubt they have some frosty quirks and features nowadays. Ice tenticles for a a start.
"THIS, is my spermatozoa"
To be honest all the vloggers are a bunch of wkers who just have to buy the latest car they cannot drive properly in competition with all the others who have not bought them.
The only exception is Harry Metcalfe who buys what he wants. Mind you he did stump up for Evo magazine to get it going.
Top bloke.
The rest I wouldn't piss on if they were covered in flaming napalm.....
PS You at least Schmee I would dab with a small damp flannel as you seem quarter decent...

This is my point. I saw the thumbnail for that video. I've got no interest in a car (or anything for that matter) covered in crystals or diamonds so i've chosen to not watch it. You'd have thought loser before you watched it as it's clearly not your thing and it's on TGE's channel. Why bother?
I clicked on the link because someone posted it above. I was curious. If I didn't watch it, I'd have been unable to form an opinion. I watched it, I gave my opinion and lo, social media was born.e46m3Mark said:
Just watched TGE's 996 collection. Lovely car and spec. Have been looking for a C2 myself so may be a bit of bias in there. Proof that you don't need mega bucks and a finance package to own a proper car. Shrewd choice to I reckon, as values are creeping up. (if that matters)
Do you think this car will help generate more views? Surely a good thing to open up peoples eyes to something different rather than latest super car.. I really like this 996 model and like yourself think it may be a good investment..G

Is this not more likely to be a publicity exercise for 4 star rather than a personal investment, probably find he will run it for 6 months for them? How many of us are now having a quick peak at their stock?
No more than my usual daily browsing So much nice stock there...My sense is that Tom has got to the point many of us have. Saturated with all the new supercar launches, why buy a 720S when you know it’s going to be superseded in 6 months?
That leads you to think - better to buy something that’s sporty but with a bit of USP, something that will last the test of time rather than just being the latest, fastest thing. I’d put the Porsche in that category.
It’s why I’m never selling my GT8. It’s not the fastest car in the world. But it makes me grin just thinking of driving it

Another car he has "bought", or at least stated as "my car", but I suspect like many previous uploads, we'll see very little of it again. And it does seem that it's another veiled sponsored video.
As before, if that business model works for him, then so be it.
I don't think I would feel comfortable or honest with myself if I was churning out that.

Was watching JWW's latest video, he talks about having put 'all of his money' into a big shed in London, sounds like he is heavily invested in NVM not just promoting it.
As I pointed out some pages back. It's a promotional gig that's not declared. If you are old money like JWW you would be a director of any company you had investment in surely? The authorities will start clamping down on all this sort of thing it's heavily regulated for mainstream TV you just couldn't get away with it.

Seems to have a similar thing going on with Road Rat magazine too The authorities will start clamping down on all this sort of thing it's heavily regulated for mainstream TV you just couldn't get away with it.
