Cheers @95JO

I have a mad month coming up and if things go to plan I will be covering cars worth anything from £500 to £500k and hopefully with the same enthusiasm for them all.

I have just replaced my daily with a very man maths almost shed purchase, which will of course be covered in due course.

Sounds interesting... I look forward to seeing the new daily - I must admit I'm glad to hear it isn't the Kia hehe

amazing how effective the new car marketing machine is.
Properly looked after there is no reason why a 3 or 5 or even 10 (!1!one!) year old car can be reliable enough to get you to work on time.

If you were earning big money and it was an irrelevance such as the footballers etc then perhaps, but to spend that on hire effectively is crazy
HENRY
High Earner, Not Rich Yet

Plenty of people in their late 20s / early 30s earning "6 figs" in the City but no real equity accuulated (i.e. renting a house and renting a car for the weekend only as commuting by bike or tube).

Despite buying loads of sub grand cars , I’ve never broken down or had to walk to work ( despite living just over a mile away )

Hate to tell you this guys. But not everyone is the same

I love the fact that some people like driving bangers and sheds. But equally why should everyone have to do that?. People can spend their money however the hell they like as far as I’m concerned.

If they want to spend money on cars rather than cigarettes or down the pub then good for them. It’s their choice.

And no, buying a car on pcp doesn’t automatically mean you’re going bankrupt. Or the finance guys wouldn’t be in business. The overwhelming majority can afford the payments clearly

So maybe we can stop the patronising bullst, the reverse snobbery, and just accept that everyone does things differently?

I agree; but this is the internet and there is no place for common sense!

Agreed, I was absolutely loving MonkyLondon's videos about his Max Power Green Calibra, shame it has all gone quiet on that front.
Hasn't he canned the calibre in lieu of the RX7

I have had Tge's latest video suggested to me many times recently by YouTube algorithms. So tonight I gave it a go.

https://youtu.be/zndhZAGLAww

Fabulous video with a mix of good humour and an insight into his Pista.

It appears that Seb has had a bit of an accident in the Team Galag Batmobile... (link in French)

He's not posting much on his main channel anymore, but his French channel seems to be doing really well. Recently hit 100k subscribers.

Whoops, that'll be a big bill...

Unsurprisingly he's gone very quiet on IG since his last post 2 days ago.

Impressed to see the air bag deploy. Says a lot about the cars build.
