I couldn't believe it when he said that... think it, but don't say it. Shades of Gerald Ratner there.
I've always liked TGE for his openness, I subscribed because he admitted his content was drivel, he joked about the adsense and getting the video above 10mins. So I would rather he did say it out-loud than think it.

However, his last few videos have really been bad, it's like his heart just isn't in it anymore. The video with his brother in the Bentayga was just next level bad, JE acting like he's coked up and TGE sat in the passenger seat like the comedown has just kicked in but he knows he has to get through this video.

I hope he can turn it round because his target audience (I guess ages 13 - 30) are very fickle and jokes can become old and they move on to the next flavour of the month.
Driving around Vauxhall and Battersea in another customer's car you're "fostering" is next level bad, titling the video like one's brother had actually bought the car to dupe the young audience is even worse biggrin

The latest was the "sale" of the Porsche Carrera to a "good mate who's not on YouTube", who conveniently is using the same finance team, shows that he's running out of content fast.... he's not even blowing raspberries and saying "Chaos!" as much as before, like his heart isn't in it rolleyes

Not sure if this is the summer lull or if this type of vlogger has had it's day. STG's "Drive The World", after the wonderful Monterey Car Week has returned to its A Place In The Sun format, where the focus was on trees, even if they didn't know their names (Giant Redwood and Sequoia BTW getmecoat ) it all falls on Shmee150 to provide interesting content for now, I even found myself watching LLF again at one point biggrin

Cannot stand the chap. Absolutely atrocious.

How do you know that whole handover debacle was staged?
Not really sure why Phil Dixon attracts quite so much hate. He seems like a decent guy, if somewhat dull. I think if he was a little less keen to be one of the YT gang and just did his own thing it could be quite a good channel.

Looks like Tavarish is losing his way a bit. A lot of unfinished projects and a lot of time passing between major milestones.

I suspect this will happen to a lot of the buy -> rebuild -> sell crew because they are reaching the limits of what can be done and interesting in a 2-3 month window.
I remember watching his channel when he around 1000 subs. His best stuff was around the time he got his S Class but now it seems like his channel got too big for him to handle. Churning out daily content is hard work but issue with him is he doesn't stick to one project so his content is all over the place.

Supposedly he's addressed the issues with the lack of uploads and said he was doing everything he can. I don't think he's cut out to be a full time YT'ber.
I think he will struggle without his camera operator / editor. The last video he put out he said he left. Not a great sign.
Hoovies garage might go a similar way.

Goonzquad are pumping out content like no tomorrow, boats, trucks, cars, motorbikes they really are having to work hard to keep up. Their next task is to build a shop, I just hope they all keep it rolling.

I look back and think its all very similar to Boyd Coddington - having to keep going bigger and bigger and eventually it gets to a point where the costs cant support the business model.

I think the ones that will do the best are the ones who have another underlying business, such as Cleetus McFarland who has a successful shop or Rob Ferretti with his rental business.

When you see the likes of Hoovie bringing in Video Bob to generate views it really is the beginning of the end. I hope not though, because I think he is one of the good guys.

Lol, I think you had a few things sail over your head, that 10 mins thing has been a bit of a running joke for Tge a while now, I am never offended, I just laugh!
Nothing sailed over my head. His frequent mentioning of AdSense I assume is also a running joke but it doesn't make it funny and I'm sure does limit his likeability factor with at least some of his audience.

How are you even finding this crap and why are you watching it? And what's with posting 'another creepy etc' as if everyone has heard/seen him before.

Does cleetus have a garage that works on a commercial basis? I was under the impression it was for him and his team. I thought his friend, fasterproms, was running a business though.
Cleetus' business appears to be YouTube and selling t-shirts.
I may have all this wrong,of course smile

Oh, I was under the impression they leased the shop together to start up the business as a proper going concern? Maybe my mistake and they just share the space?

Article is a couple of years old, he’s a rather industrious chap:
http://streetracemag.com/entertainment/qa-behind-t...

For those who can’t be bothered clicking/reading:
- Runs (ran?) 1320 Video’s social media channels
- Cleetus YouTube channel
- law student

Don’t know if that’s changed in the past 2 years but certainly seems like the shop is just a bunch of friends sharing a space to do cool stuff.

About 1 week ago I linked The Stradman in to this thread calling him all sorts of names, people commented saying his content is like a brain aneurysm.

Now that I've tuned in to his personality, I can honestly say I'm hooked. He's actually quite funny and honest. You can follow his journey on his channel from literally no money to having 2 Lambo's etc.

If people judge me for watching this st, then my best comparison is that this is my daytime TV like watching Phil and Holly on This Morning. I know it's not good for me but I don't care I enjoy it.

I really like the stradman, uses his cars, they are definitely not garage queens, and has more then just super cars.
