Exactly. I can only dream of sitting in...nevermind driving a XJ220. Jay's video was something special for me and it gave me a taste of something that I will never experience. Hats off to him as far as I'm concerned.

It seems that Sideways Sid is now doing some back tracking on his "leaving his mclaren on the m25" story. He has deleted his comment where he explained it was a lie and that a police officer did actually stop and help him. Seems he was taking some flack over it. Anyone with half a brain cell could work out that it would end badly for him.

Gave SOL some sympathy views last night. Latest video about passing his Mod2 even he was admitting he didn't see the point in the video. Second video was the 1 year of lambo ownership thing. Can someone explain his maths in this video? Bought for £200k, has cost £50k in finance and running costs, recons he'd get £150k from a dealer and has worked out ownership has been free. Ermmm!

Probably a bit optimistic any dealer would be in a rush to take a car needing a full respray.

Possibly, I find my self skipping through some of the content but it is often interesting and thought out so he may see a reduction in viewing figures from suddenly making a lot of the videos 5-10mins when people are used to the long form

Of the 14 videos I have currently uploaded and in the queue, only two are over 15 minutes long. I never pad a video out to make the ten minutes mark (there's a couple which are 8 or 9 minutes).

These days I try and make sure any video over 20 minutes long has good justification. It's either got to be something very rare (eg. Venturi, XJ220) or a twin-test (eg. an upcoming R8 video featuring the GT and the LMX side-by-side, possibly the first video to do that)

You've got to give jay credit for the little things like having a test route for hot hatches another for bigger faster cars etc.

Although being critical i think his shirts we're better last year , there were some awesome shirts , this year it's all toned down a bit
