As for TGE, I thought he'd replaced the Golf he'd leased now? He's taking a risk adding too many miles to the IKEA Pista using it as a daily.

Given the divisive spec of the Pista, mileage probably isn’t that much of a worry. I imagine that it would sell for less than most anyway.

Why is that funny? What have I missed?
It's the way they bought that ridiculous Suzuki Jimny together... shared ownership is something usually seen with apartments biggrin a week later Shmee150 buys one. Weeks later they disappear quicker than a Brexit deal offered to Boris Johnson by the EU laugh

They are all hankering for the A45, though I think this time round, only Archie Hamilton has placed an order. TGE had the Golf, but another lease car will replace it.

Archie Hamilton wants an SUV (ideally a Vogue) for winter... Katie Price won't be needing hers as she's banned for two years. I'm sure he can wrap it if hot pink is not his colour biggrin

To be fair Shmee did explain the story behind his Jimny. Think it turned up later than planned, and the G-Wagon turned up earlier than expected so there wasn't really any need to keep the Jimny.

We thought the Jimny would be January, and in truth I wanted to put a Liberty Walk Gmini kit on it and we thought that would be February, while at the time my G63 was due in September.

However what happened was that the Jinnys were all pushed back and it rocked up in May, and the Gmini kit still wasn't available, and simultaneously the G63 came forwards and arrived in June.

You can't really plan these things, but when somebody asked for the car, knowing I would only have a handful more UK days in the rest of the year what was the point in keeping it. This speculation that Suzuki themselves were involved in this is foolish, the same as about 5 big YouTubers now having Supras - which is much more concerning than the Jimny racket!

I'd never heard of LB until I got involved in a few racing games - they are hugely well known and seemingly respected in the tuner circles.

G-Mini - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmiAtfRnWpE

Granted it's not to my taste, but I can see that this would have gained a bucket-load of views for Tim if it had come to fruition.

So, screw on plastic spats on a car that actually suits screw on spats. But grossly overpriced screw on spats ‘Because Liberty Walk’.

Nice to see Mr JWW using his TDF on the Targa Florio Rally.

Given I suspect he's lost a bundle of cash on it it makes sense for him to actually use and enjoy it.

Think there have been two made, and sold, in the UK so far. The latest is still listed on autotrader even though it went immediately it was listed - for £30k (on a car originally costing £17999). Worth noting this is an actual Suzuki dealer who did it too.

Really strong rumours that there are no more Jimny’s coming in quarter 4 of the year. With all Suzuki cars going hybrid in the UK it’s not clear if there will be any more Jimny’s in current guise, or if it will be the only exception. It’s clear though that Suzuki have completely failed to meet the demand in the UK (this time last year they had 11,000 expressions of interest on their website, and delivered only 600 in the first 6 months of 2019).

SOL indulges in a spot of international tyre kicking
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UChaWtCeZaE&t=1s

With a jaunt to Dubai. To drag the content out a little more, him and a dozy friend are attempting to find a sub £100k Ferrari 458 or similar, pay import fees, ship it home and get it road legal (hopefully includes an MOT this time). They mooch around three showrooms in a 48 hour period, but this may be dragged out for a while like Brexit Negotiations i.e one show per week to get us wanting more rolleyes

I wonder where all the money comes from, hiring a Hyundai i30N, an Aston Martin, a Honda bike, attempting repair on an aging Lamborghini... will everything come crashing down soon? frown

I am sure he has multiple streams of income.Plus he has a mortgage to pay so I doubt he is going to create anymore financial liabilities. Both his recent vids minus the pug gti reveiw were able to get six figure views. And since he is an automotive influencer he is able to get loaner cars.

Aging super car that was used as a daily. So that means it has very high mileage that has spent most of its life in a hot country. What could go wrong? 40K Mileage on a 812 superfast!

It's his full time job now. He's even stopped writing in the classic magazines.

When I last saw him at Sh!tefest 201, despite being at a forum social, he was very busy filming all day. Admittedly there was plenty of content for him to film about - from a Hyundai Stella V8 to a Citroen DS.

It's *my* full time job too, that's what makes me so impressed he's keeping the rate up!

I have been watching his princess vs ambassador video while my own render, and rather enjoying it.

Apparently he almost lost the video files for that one!

I've watched quite a few of your videos. Honestly, I don't mind them but there is something that I can't put my finger on why I don't keep going back to them. Certainly not the cars themselves, as you post about cars that I very much like and find interesting. I think it might be that there isn't quite enough car history in them and also walking around shots of the car? Stuff like the engine bay, cockpit + controls, storage, etc and how they would be to live with.

Harry's Garage is still by far my favourite channel and genuinely am quite excited when I see he's posted a new video. Hoovies Garage I find weirdly appealing but it does lack actual real content - I think he's just an easy watch on a late evening.

I don't find many of the "influencers" videos enjoyable at all. Possibly because most are about brand new cars and I've almost lost all interest in anything newly released. Also many of them are far too excitable and over egg things.
