Are these Vloggers just a scam? SOL or Shmee etc? (Vol 2)

Don't agree in the slightest, his email went above the call of duty offering to even reply on my behalf.
I'm not sure why anyone really cares, seems to be making a mountain out of a molehill, and I think you've probably already explained it perfectly clearly so let's go back to speculating on GT500 colours (don't like the green myself but that deep red is lovely).Japveesix said:

Unfortunately it's all about timing, the interview request came in about 6-7 days before publishing and during that week I had a full day drive through Death Valley with no signal, return long haul 12hr flights to Germany with an intense schedule there, and came straight back in to a press launch that means it would have been impossible.
As a result for my team the request didn't even land on my plate because they knew I didn't have time for it when required by Bloomberg. As it happens I have actually met the author, Hannah Elliott, a few times as she is Magnus Walker's girlfriend so they travel together to many events.
No comment on whether or not you 'should' have participated, that's your business. The claim it would have been 'impossible' is utter bullst, though. I don't believe you had no way of communicating with the outside world for many days, nor that you had no way of making time should it have been something you wanted to do. Had it been 'X' manufacturer offering you something mega exclusive for £Y you'd have found a signal and put it in your diary faster than you can say 'bend me over and pump me full of unleaded'. As a result for my team the request didn't even land on my plate because they knew I didn't have time for it when required by Bloomberg. You do yourself no favours trying to pretend you're massively too important to have 5 seconds free in the next eleven million years.

Do vloggers no longer have the luxury of not doing something purely because it's not convenient or the just don't want to ?
Tim was asked for an interview, which he couldn't make due to other commitments (fair enough), Shmarc offered but was declined as they'd preferred to speak to Tim (fair enough also), so advised them it may be a while before he can get back to them if they have a lot of questions (also fair enough).
That's how I see it, and don't see why some people think there's an issue?

Tim really enjoyed the GT2/3 vid, nice to see how much your driving has improved, very impressive
Thank you! I can honestly say I have never been more 'on it' than that in my life, the GT2 RS instills so much confidence, just would love to drive the same track in a Senna too. I've posted this gentleman (George) before but....I'm going to post his video again as it's probably one of the best car related channels on YT and some far less talented people get many more views and subscribers.

They didn’t like the fact that Tim refused an interview request. At least that’s the way it comes across from this -
“Tim is absolutely flat-out busy with the creation of content for his YouTube channel,” Burton’s assistant wrote in reply to an interview request, noting it would take six months before Shmee had an opening in his schedule for a phone call. “It is part of the life of an influencer: never time and always lived by the algorithms of YouTube.”
- always been full of his own self-importance. What a total frigger. Disgraceful attitude towards the media, or, does the fact that he wasn't included on the 'influencer' list a few weeks back mean he's taken his rounders bat and ball home to play on his own...? Probably. Can't even take a phone call interview! Absolute ste.The link is here for anybody else wanting to read the article -
