WBAC just offered me 2 grand for my 5 year old MK3 RS. Residuals are not looking good.
WTF, load of bull st, the car has not even been out 5 years!!!
I can't tell if you are being ironic or serious Si-130 but for avoidance of doubt lee_erm is actually taking the micky out of a well know and much loved contributer to the RS threads.

I am definitely being ironic with last part of that statement by the way.

What ? Used cars are cheaper than new ones ?

Is there an official price limit for a car based on the fact that it has a hatch and irrespective of anything else ?
That would explain why they only sold a couple of thousand Ferrari FFs in 5 years!
Just too expensive for a 4wd hatch at well over 36k..........
£36k is nothing these days among all the performance cars out there.

Context in 2016-2018: 5 seats, 5 doors, practical, 4WD (with rear power bias), turbo, petrol, MANUAL, looks larger than life.

Look elsewhere and you have the likes of Audi and Honda that do not tick all the above boxes and are far from cheap.

The holy trinity of RS Youtube enthusiasts have now all had confirmed engine issues/head gasket replacements - Fezza, CarFocused and MarkCup. CarFocused confirmed issues today thus completing the triangle of woe. All look literally broken by their experiences of owning the car.

Choose wisely before coughing up $$$ for one of these, let alone paying extra just for a red one. I'm 110% happier with my Type R even though it did get broke in to the other day!

You still pushing that bullst? Find us one.

Cheapest I can find is an early, sync2, lowly specced, 18k miler for £24k which being 2 years old and only having lost approx £6k has still held its value remarkably well compared to almost anything else.

Hi Humandong, I see you are still obsessed with the car and watching every vid about it on youtube. The 3 you mention are all absolutely loving their cars just as they were before being repaired. Maybe one day you will be able to sell you fiesta ST and afford one yourself.

You mean, so devastated that they've had their's repaired FOC by Ford and now appear to be enjoying them more than ever now? They certainly sound like some broken men alright! laugh

P.S. I'd still have one of these over the Type R tongue out

You don't have a Type R, you never had a Focus RS - just sat here waiting for you to tell us you've now moved on to your third imaginary "king of hatches" the Megane ....

The girlfriend still upset with the responses you get or has she left now?

Earth. The residuals are currently running £17,000 - £23,000 depending on model, options, mileage etc.

I can't find any within a 60 mile radius of me much under £25k. Prices have been annoyingly stable for the past few months...

Only one I saw at £24k was the one used by Ford dressed as a police car for PR work around the various forces

I will bet you £100 (or you never return to this forum again whichever works best for you) that you wont find a legit MK3 Focus RS that has not been accident damaged for under £23k on today's market.

The burden of proof is on you now...

I looked through Autotrader, Pistonheads and eBay and only found one below £25k... at £24,995. It was like the spastic who claims his friend bought a totally legit one for £17k. I really don't understand what these sociopaths hope to achieve by peddling bullsh*t.

If they get the value to drop a bit that would be great for me (and if they could encourage a few more grey ones to appear!) tbh, but I think depreciation is beginning to slow as they reach the end of production.

Do you mean the imaginary girlfriend like everything else in Humandoing's life ? The guy has serious mental issues.
