I don’t think I’ve noticed anything different on any of the fuels to be honest.

I agree. Mine feels stronger with 97-99 than 95 and I see 1-2mpg improvement with 99.
With your username I'd expect nothing less.....

When using 97-99 I wonder if my car is a little slower to start (crank) the engine, especially if has previously been moved a very short distance.

Has anyone ever had the clearances on valves checked, I thought I’d read it was suppose to be done on first service of these at 600 miles but I’ve never heard of anyone having it done.

Its a very simple job to check them, so not sure why you'd want to avoid this?

You miss understand I don’t want to avoid it. It was not done on any of my services to date but I thought I’d read it should be done first service was just asking if anyone knew or anyone had had it done on a service interval and if so which one ?

From memory the first is 18k/24.

You should be able to hear a bad clearance, not to say this would replace a physical check.

Sorry I missed this. The service interval for checking the clearances is supposed to be every second service. In practice they rarely need adjusting, but checking them isn't a bad job.

My brothers just picked up a swift sz5 yesterday and seems to think the dealership in Sheffield had a new style swift sport.

They finally out ?

I believe so. On Thursday I received a voicemail from the local dealership inviting me to pop down for a drive as they would "love to get my feedback on it".

I was in my Suzuki dealer a couple of days ago, they had a new SS in black. Sat in the cockpit and made brmm-brmmm noises, thought it pretty sweet. Nice interior layout. No test drives as yet.

Thought it would make a nice 'second car' as boot is very small. Good looking in the (black) flesh, I thought.

My mum bought a SSS today and they had this here at Newman's.

Looks wicked in the flesh. Salesman told me Suzuki have sold all 300 of the first batch already and it doesn't launch until June 1st.

They look allot better in person than in the pictures and they also have discount if on finance so it brings the price down by over 2k.

Agreed. I was really impressed with it in the flesh! Did ask to test drive but they're only letting serious buyers have a go. One lad bought one whilst we were there, think he's got a 3 month wait until he can expect delivery.

Would really recommend Newmans in Totton, Southampton for anyone considering a new or used Suzuki.

Yes they seem ok, had look outside of and was about to leave and sales guy spotted us leaving and shouted out if we would like to look in inside, they have really moved on compared to the other halfs MK1 sport.

Can't justify it at the moment as I bought the MK1 for her to learn in a year and half ago and she still hasn't passed!!! On the plus side it is half the amount to insure compared to things like 1.2 corsa's for her!

But tyres are choices are limited and they have used the same wheels for the new again.

Plus it's my turn to get new car but find something to replace my S60t5 seems to be hard as I have got quite attached to it.

I had a test drive last week of the new Sport...it’s much quicker than the zc32s much improved gearchange as well, but that was all I liked, dynamically I think it’s a step backwards it doesn’t feel as tight to drive.
