Bang on. They used to be everywhere and I don't think I saw an 18 or 19 plate Mondeo all last year. Nobody in the office has one either. Weird.
Don’t worry, my company has just changed over from a all Vauxhall fleet to a all ford fleet and so far has had 4,000 mondeos delivered in the last 18 months, Il be going over to one from a insignia in another year,

Il be sad when ford pull the plug, they are lovely cars, massively capable and I think better than a 3 series.

Any 90's Rep motor thinking about it.

Is it a 2004 facelift one? I heard the later ones changed to sharing the suspension of the ZS as a cost saving measure, and those drive brilliantly.
Yes, its a 2005 on a 55 plate

I'm not sure...it does have a lot of body roll but i'm comparing that to my Corsa which is unfair and i've never been in a ZS to compare

It handles ok to be fair.

I see it often because it’s mine but I don’t see any others.
My mate had a 51 plate 3.0 V6, inherited from his step dad; scrapped or given up on as it needed a subframe due to rot

Its not a fvcking Robin Reliant, Its a fvcking RELIANT ROBIN.
No one ever says Regal Reliant or Scimitar Reliant, so why do people say Robin Reliant?
Tardy resposne I know, I'm new here and still wading through interesting old threads.

Blame Jasper Carrott for the transposition of Reliant and Robin.

ZS180s were the same weight as a GT86 ( hence the same performance ) so light compared to most E46s - a 330 certainly feels a bit pudding-y compared to the MG
Great handling came as standard on the V6 - it was snapping at the heels of a Clio 182 despite being a 4-dr saloon/5-dr hatch

Used to see tonnes of 306s and 106s, haven't seen a 306 in years but there are a few 106s soldiering on.

Also the bubble Micras, seemingly everywhere as first cars but gone totally now.

I saw a 306 Rallye last week and was just thinking about how I coveted one of those when I was 19, when the lights went green and he gunned it, only to lose the traffic light GP with the 320d next to it.

Granted the 306 driver would have far more fun, but I can't help feel it would be irritating these days to get outdragged by fairly mundane repmobiles.

I have one, yes out dragged by many many smaller cars, but that is not the point, light, adequate power and great visibility on the twists smile

Most however are in ditches

I remember driving brand new ones at a Peugeot PR day at Weston Park and someone managed to spin one on the heavily cambered single track road on the estate - before even getting onto the road route!

Good effort by the 320d though - could’ve been down to 4wd and the fast shifting slush box or damp/wet roads I guess

I have a couple of 90's cars which I don't think have been mentioned yet, an E34 Touring which I've had 20 years, is on 348k and still my daily driver, saw 1 other last year.
Also a Puma, still see a few about but disappearing quickly.
