We’re in Harbour Bar in Portrush and seriously worse for wear. Walking home will be a challenge and it’s only a couple of hundred yards. Unlikely we’ll meet tonight frown

That was never claimed. The point was that the Porsche lovers on here said that a GT2 RS wothbits fancy suspension would cope with riding the kerbs. That was roundly derided.

Obviously you shouldn’t let the truth get in the way of your comment though.

Well for those car drivers that want to see what the fuss is about a then the NW200 highlights are on BBC2 27/5 where you can see bikes that are the equivalent of race MX5/Clio's/BTCC/Carrera Cup cars.

The problem is that that NW200 holds zero interest for most people. Petrol heads and otherwise.

Well I’ve watched all the coverage on BBC sport NI. About 7 hours worth. I have no time for people who don’t like motorbike racing. It’s superb and this has been a great Northwest.

If you can’t find something absolutely fascinating about road racing you’re not a petrol head IMO.

The same can accurately be said about every form of motor racing and sport.

We'll have to agree to disagree beer because although I'm not the biggest fan I can sit & watch Speedway/F1 etc (although I draw the line at Formula E)
