The point is that this wasn't a drag race. It was road racing. With corners and stuff. ie real world point to point.

its an odd power figure to come by as a standard one is below that but even a basic stage 1 map takes it to about 530

It has 450hp according to manufacturers spec.

Apart from the fact, that I’ve never claimed that then this is a great discussion. My car is completely standard, as are my road bikes (bar an Akrapovic slip on on one). I don’t fettle with cars at all

Why would they? It means some serious speeds to average c90mph for the whole journey. Also, as one record stood for 35 years, then that shows how little it means.
