I had a chat with the wife and basically she get me wanting an MGB just not a wreck or a rusty one, anyway i found this one...thoughts on condition from the photos (a 3 hour drive) so i don't want to waste my time and the seller seems reluctant to send more photos :/

If he won't send photos and wants you to spend six hours driving to inspect it, he's either hiding something or not serious. Move on to the next one.

Or his wife is making him sell it as he didn't tell her he was buying it but really he wants to keep it smash

Where in the country is it? Someone local might be able to pop over and look for rust....

Personally as mentioned earlier I'd save up a bit more and get something more along these ^^^^ lines than that to be honest. smile

norfolk ... anyone on here from there? and yeah the other odd thing is the seller keeps going on that it comes with some mg parts and some mgb magazines :/ not that i really care about that at all, but some how the seller thinks it justify the great deal it is, and yeah the lack of photos does set off alarm bells,

Did you buy one?

Hopefully, you found a nice one with no rot and you're now blasting around the English countryside feeling really happy with your purchase.

Well, considering he was looking at a Fiesta less then a month ago

Id gamble either the MGB fell through, or he bought a very rusty MGB and fell through it hehe

Joking aside, last post of him in that thread:
