That's a young Fred Dibnah, surely?
How awesome would it be if it were! A top lad if ever there was, and from Bolton. Not that Steve Mc. isnt.

Ok if you have a TR6
Sounds like a good reason for the TR6, which works for me.

I am 36 and always wondered this...I do have a flat cap, but always a slightly worn baseball cap. I think both look fine, but my car is a early E46 cab so unsure if a flat cap suits?

Had to know isnt it.

I'm 30, and drive a westfield with a thermalite beanie, when not in the E45 coupe.

Flat cap? Pfffft.

I also have a 'Rupert the Bear' scarf for when I'm feeling extra saucy.

What's life without a giggle from time to time?

I actually have a beanie thing with a brim in my Spider. Dreadful, but practical, so who cares.

Whilst driving around in my MX5, I have taken to wearing a farmers style flat cap. Yes, a few years ago they were usually worn by old pensioners who pootled up the motorway at 30mph on a Sunday afternoon.

However, now they are the chosen headgear of "The Cheshire set", Prince Harry etc, definitely the thing to be seen in.

You can pick them up from a charity shop for around a fiver.

Anyone else a dedicated follower of fashion?
Got mine for The Goodwood Revival from just such a shop!

I bought a lovely Stetson Flat Cap on holiday.... but I’m 41 years old with 2 Imprezas and a Swift Sport. It’ll just look silly frown

You also need to wear a very thin scarf with various pictures of smoking pips on it to complete the look

I wear a baseball cap in my open top car and I'm over 50. It makes it a lot less tiresome to have a hat - for some reason the wind ruffling my hair is mildly annoying over any meaningful distance.

I have a selection of flat caps but they are used for when I am on the shooting field. A baseball cap feels more secure and has a more effective brim for shading the sun.

I guess I don't mind looking a bellend if it is the best thing for the job.

One of my pet hates is people wear a hat in a closed top car. However, I have been annoyed in my wife's Tesla Model X that the huge pano windscreen makes low sun a bit of a nightmare so I have been considering buying a couple of baseball caps to chuck in the car for winter days / summer evenings.

Adidas tracksuit and a leather flat cap is a good look. Don't knock it until you've tried it. biggrin

Head wear of choice where I live, along with a Schoffel waistcoat and an Land Rover product of some sort, age irrelevant! You can get your ear defenders on over the top of them, you see!
