One hell of a wait for his first post. Didn't think this thread was special enough to come out of 12+ years of hiding biggrin

These H3 Hummers are crap. Don't do it.

They're just an Isuzu/Chevrolet (in Australia Holden) Colorado in drag. The vehicle on which it's based is probably a far better prospect, but in itself also not exactly fantastic.

This is a Hummer:

That, is an uglier Isuzu D-Max with a stty 3.5 litre diesel engine.

"Aside from the engine, transmission and some structural metal, less than 10 percent of the Colorado can be found on the H3."

"...the H3’s 4x4 drivetrain is substantially changed."

Serious question: when would this be a pleasure to drive? Whether on a motorway, A road, town centre or off road, I can't imagine this thing being anything other than a complete PITA..,
I can’t think of any circumstances where this would be nice to drive. An added drawback is that you’ll look like a tool. Even when you use it for the inevitable school leavers’ prom vehicle.

Not even that rugged, a Range Rover would trounce it in every single scenario

Is that a flexible rear spot light or just a broken reverse light? £17k must get you 6.2l of AMG ML at this age, why on earth would you choose this?

Had a ride in a H1 back in America in 2000, and was surprised how much space it had inside. (Not a lot, huge transmission tunnel.)

If you really must, then surely this is a better option, 6 litre V8 with LPG...

Don't get what the reasoning would be to import one either? Must've been costly for someone
