One of my neighbours used to own a black Lister XJ, not sure if he still does as i've not seen it for years but it had the perfect private plate IIRC. Something like 'L15 TER'.

Lister Storm for me please.

I remember seeing these the GT race variant and the road going ones at GT races in the 90s.

Where else can you get a proper V12 supercar, with race heritage and more rarity than any other supcar for < £200k.

I agree looks and proportions are curious, to be be polite, but pop up lights make up for it.

£200k for this or >> £900 k for an F40 or F50, or £9M for a Mclaren F1..... I would actually take the Lister Storm!

Can I have his number?

L15TER belongs to Lister Cars afaik, as it's currently on their demo machine.

"the XJS is capable of 0-60 in 3.6 seconds, with 100mph coming up in just 10.8."

How does it take so long to go from 60 to 100mph. 7.2 seconds to increase by 40mph? Even with unusual gear spacing, that's quite a lot for something with 600bhp.

Normally something of this weight that can do 0-60 in 3.6 seconds would be at 100mph in under 10. Either that or the figures are slightly questionable.

Whoever gets highest bid on that Storm would be wise to cover it in a race livery wrap, as its truly gopping.

I seem to remember a truly modified Lister saloon with the reg PEN 1 back in the 90's . Anyone on here ? Back in the days of car mags.

So silver, blue and green Storms left?

Did they make four or five?

Wonder what happened to this one, the GTL bodywork prototpe

And this one, which appears to be wearing race bodywork but road legal.

According to this facebook post, it's one of four and located in Brazil

As for the XJS. I absolutely love the Lister versions and can't stand the original cars.

Here's a spreadsheet of the known ones that I've been able to find on the web.

Any help completing it would be appreciated as I know neither how many were made or anywhere near the full details on them

It looks great to me but then the thought of wrapping any road car in a race livery wrap is enough to make me shudder.

Looks so sad.
