It feels desperate to me. Name a car after a dead man who had no involvement with the company and then drag in a relative to give it the “seal of approval”.

McLaren are always trying to trade in a history that isn’t their own. Soulless, horrible company.
I don’t know, you and Sege sound like the most miserable pair.
Senna has no involvement with the company??!!
He only drive there F1 car, won world championship with them. You are aware of that?
Bruno has had an association with McLaren for years, he has a 675 LT.

So what is this history that isn’t their own? Enlighten us all.

Insightful post.

"Trash" "horrid" and "little"

Please could you enlighten us further on why you feel these verbs are fitting for such a car? I can only assume you mean them upon an aesthetics view, because from a perIformance perspective (i.e. what this car was actually designed for) I don't think anyone would think such descriptives are justified. Unless, of course, it is you who is the moron.

If you describe it as so from purely an aesthetics point of you, then again, perhaps you are the moron, because you are basing your opinion on something around a point that it is not actually designed for. It'd be akin to saying that a Rolls Royce Phantom is rubbish because it's too big and quiet and devoid of a great deal of driver involvement.

Everything is rosey- until you drive up a road with a speed bump.
Everything is rosey- until you drive up to IKEA and try to fit a OLDHOFLAPPE 3 door wardrobe with integrated shoe rack and soft-close mechanism in it.
That would be no problem. It would easily fit in the spoiler.

Yep - he likes to post around chucking out time.
Nasty drunk / tragically lonely / mistakenly thinks his ‘outrageous’ posts are amusing - delete as applicable.

Because the people that are buying this one likely already have a racecar, or several. Or don't actually want a racecar.

They could fittingly call it 'Mclaren Bruno Senna' and be done with internet arguments

Oh yes that soulless horrible company that donated the £2million proceeds from the auction of the last Senna to the Ayrton Senna Institute....
