The Bugatti used to belong to Afzal, it was sold to the Hartleys (they actually bought the pair he had at that time).

thank you - so what is the likely penalty for something like this. Does "running from the scene" entail an additional penalty?

edit: ah and I forgot to add lying to the police about brake failure

Hartley, who later identified himself as being involved in the collision, said that his brakes on the vehicle had failed and caused him to collide with the Porsche"

What an absolute tosser Hartley is.

Yep Ferraris are prone to sudden brake failure then miraculously they start working perfectly again. rolleyes

Bet Hartleys father is proud.

Could be good for business though.

Wonder how long the sentences will be.

Which would of course be terrible for Mr Hartley, poor fella. It’s not his fault.

Custody inevitable. The only question is whether custody is immediate or suspended.

All very clever that they can actually determine what the speed was when the airbags deployed! Wouldn’t surprise me if they are harsh with them to teach a lesson

I'm sure Mr teflon,Nick Freeman will work his wonders... wasn't it said Hartley ran away fearing for his life from shouting bystanders...

I’d bet on “no porridge” but a suspended sentence if Hartley Jnr has a good brief. I remember reading the article at the time it happened & thinking what a pair of berks. It looks like there were plenty of witnesses if those involved were in an extended bit of the motoring equivalent of willy waving.

I bet a certain car vlogger who recently interviewed Hartley Jnr won’t be raising the topic in the future hehe

Would your insurance even pay out in circumstances like this?

Maybe we’ll stop seeing him filming himself driving on Instagram for a few months ....

They don’t payout if your negligent and leave the keys in a car or if your done for drunk driving
