These kinds of incident just contribute to a popular belief that all Ferrari /Porsche etc drivers are privileged clowns and irresponsible posers.

Most of my friends in the Porsche community are normal responsible drivers and wince every time this sort of thing happens. Maybe apart from legal proceedings these fools should be banned from ever buying a new one.
They should never be allowed to rent one let alone buy one!

Safe to say that'll make zero difference, since they didn't.

It isn't just Porsche and Ferrari drivers they bring shame on.

So assuming these are rentals, and anecdotal evidence supports that view, are we 100% certain the aforementioned super car dealer is involved ?

Personally no matter what one thinks of their business I would be surprised if they were dabbling in the wedding market unless things are really bad in the super car sales game.

I wonder if they were rented?

I also wonder, given the lack of ethnic diversity of the crowd. And the curry on the car; for some reason.

If the cars were rented and being driven badly in conjunction with some kind of religious festival.

Or are we not allowed to point out the obvious from the pictures anymore?
which religious festival involves a curry on the windscreen and totaling 2 sports cars?

Yerp, Ramadam. Usually, the curry goes inside the people though.

That, or a show-off wedding. given it seems to have happened inside daylight hours... I'm going to go with a wedding.

The only thing we know is that the Ferrari has Carl’s number plate on it. It’s not registered to be on that car though and has been on the Bugatti for quite some time so it’s anyone’s guess why it’s on that Ferrari.

Highly doubtful they would have rented out a car, especially with that plate, so it could be cloned (badly) for whatever reason.

I reckon that Cayman will be able to keep up with the Ferrari. Most recovery trucks go at about the same speed.... smile
A couple of skips is probably what you want for those now.

This one doesn't say "sold", but doesn't show in their current inventory...

Not seeing many quickly visible differences with the crashed one. Colour, interior, wheels, calipers, black shields.

I always get a bit uncomfortable with these threads, they always tend to go the same way until the card gets played.

It does seem to be a growing problem, i.e. over excitable young men in an urban settings driving what are some very fast cars beyond any speed limit or their meagre ability, not always at weddings, I had occasion to go through Manchester yesterday and some chaps in an 08 plate S3 went flying past and were trying to goad me into a race, er, really, in Manchester City centre and the Mancunian way, with loads of traffic due to the great Manchester run ? and by the way, if you are reading this, that clutch didnt smell so hot, well actually, it smelt really, really hot when you left the pedestrian crossing at full chat biggrin

Sorry, but mine is registered to me and I cant run that fast when it all inevitably goes wrong.

Perhaps broaden horizons beyond hammering round city centres in rented, borrowed or otherwise dodgy cars and get involved in doing track days or something ?

Apart from the fact that the one in the advert seems to have been crashed into a lake but survived while the one in the wedding convoy was crashed into something more substantial and didn't. Other than that they are pretty nearly identical.
