It does take time to get comfortable with the clutch. Using the anti-stall is key, also I found having my heel on the floor allows more control of the clutch pedal movement rather than having your heel in ‘fresh air’. It took me a good few 1000 miles to get used to it. Personally I don’t find it overly stiff and not a problem once you have had some decent seat time. I’ve driven over 30k Miles in mine now. I think the fact the car requires a lot of time and effort to master just driving it let alone exploring the limits of its handling on the road or track means very few have high mileage and often have very many owners. However for those that stick with it, there is not a more exhilarating driving experience IMO.
Spot on Sir, I completely agree.I had in mind posting these in the Major Service thread but perhaps here will do just as well. Photos taken in early May this year enroute to Switzerland.
Sunrise in northern France
Some open roads heading south through Champagne country
Descending into Simmental in the Berner Oberland
Less than ideal conditions on the Col du Bonhomme, but though caution is clearly needed the CGT doesn't necessarily have to be just a fair weather garage queen.

Saw this photo and had to post! I've done Bonhomme several times in my CGT and it's absolutely bloody epic! Never mind your Evo triangle or Nurburgring stuff, if there are any dynamic weaknesses the Bonhomme will lay it bare. Thanks for posting, brought back some great memories.
I love the cgt
I like the fact it has the nickname widow maker
Probably why I like the P1 too
It seems like it’s a car that you can’t just get in and drive and will punish those that try to take liberties yet will reward those who know how to drive it
I suppose it’s like dating a nympho serial killer! She might kill you at any moment but the ride will be the best of your life once you get to know it

I think the Paragon CGT featured in this article looks a fair price- which is very surprising considering Paragon’s normal price structure is extortionate.
This car has kinda slipped under my radar for the last while, but looking at it in detail again now - damn, that is one fine looking machine! It has SERIOUSLY improved with age in my opinion. Baffles me how an Enzo is worth so much more, whereas that car is definitely beginning to look 'of an age'. The CGT on the other hand just appeals to me far, far more now with it's purposeful simplicity (for want of a better term!).
The downside is, I only won €5 on last nights Euromillions, so just gonna have to try again Friday!

Its back half is ok, but the gonzo's ridiculous overhanging snout was never anything but awkward to me.The CGT is fairly close to perfect timeless design IMO - IIRC it was slated a bit when new for not looking 'modern' or 'edgy' enough... thankfully!
