Way, way better than the donor car. I have always thought the rear intakes on that car really didn't suit. The headlights on this are just superb but as people have commented there does seem to be a hint of the 'Stratos' from a couple of years ago.

I don't see any F40 in it whatsoever.
They're both red.

Does have the look of the Stratos reboot from the front, but with more of a cab forward look. I preferred the Stratos - not that I’d turn the Ferrari down!

The first car this made me think of when I saw this was Lamborghini Huracan.

It's as if someone's gone up to Ferrari and said, " I love the looks of the Huracan but don't want a Lambo, can you help"?

Headlights and engine cover are exactly the same.

I think that looks absolutely phenomenal! Looks like a tidied up J50 which was a looker to begin with, seeing a lot of f50 in this one, would love to see the process behind projects like these, bit of luck it shows up at Goodwood FOS this year like the f12 TRS and the 458MM have done in the past.

Pretty tacky. I'm not getting these designs. Decent proportions, sort of, but horrid details and still too much land on the side behind the door.. Far, far too fussy, all that stupid black trim, little slitty headlights that just look awful.. I dunno. And the 80s rear screen stuff, it all stinks of a lack of imagination. None of Ferrari's lineup has an ounce of creativity in it. They all look predictable.

There seems to be a real lack of good design right now. It's like everyone's throwing the same numbers at a computer and getting the same generic dross back. Tweak the headlights and sell.

I’m surprised it’s got a prancing horse badge as it looks like someone shopped a Lamborghini and a Stratos as has been said before. In fact, it needs the badges to to make some connection with Ferrari.

If you saw this in April you’d say someone was playing you for a fool.

Whoever wanted this needs to make up their mind about what car brand they really wanted. It’s a joke, And probably cost north of 3 million I’d guess.

F cars are usually beautiful and this car isn't an exception.

But, I hate them out of principle.

God, I am so ready for a new Esprit.

The headlights look like those atrocious bad boy bonnet/light combos that were once so popular with the council set on their Fords and Vauxhalls etc.

I'd take a 488 Pista over this every time.

Front XJ220
Sides - Stratos
Rear - BMW i8 - complete with "pooing", maybe a 430?

I was thinking Esprit concept for the headlights.
