Money is no object, you may buy three new cars. What?
Discussion
I really struggle with these questions in pretty much the same way I struggle with choosing cars in real life. Oddly 15 or 20 years ago I’d have found it easier - it would probably been:
911 - fun
Range Rover - practicality / long distance
Mini - station / shopping
Now I find it much harder.
RR would still win for the practicality / luxury / long distance thing
I really fancy an Aventador for the theatre
Which leaves one more.
Probably 911 but I do also like the M760Li
First world problems...

Being extremely boring and practical about this, so taking into account running costs and drive/garage space:
1. VW California Ocean (for weekend trips)
2. Mini Countryman JCW (wife's daily)
3. VW Up GTi (my daily)
Possibly one of the cheapest 3 yet, but unlike most others I could afford to run them for a few years!

BMW M5 for the long cross country road trips.
Aston Martin Vantage Volante for the summer.
Jeep Grande Cherokee for everything else. With the biggest petrol engine they do. I’d proper pimp it for mega off road duties too. I would want it as big, chunky, crass and American as possible.
Assuming my generous benefactor allows a budget for running costs!

Volvo v90
Amg s65 cabriolet
Vw California
Been weighing up what new car to buy. Budget is in theory unlimited so went to look at a Panamera Sportbrake Turbo...but the boot is too small, and the fifth seat too restricted by transmission tunnel to be any good as an all purpose car. I’m back to looking at Amg 63 estates because I only really want one car for all things...but I’d rather have a Volvo and an S65 really. Camper would be fun too I think.

Rolls Cullinan .
Saw one of these for the first time on the road (a country lane) today. Looked ridiculous.Appreciate that that may not be the case in Dubai though 😏
(And am not one of the Dubai knockers having lived there - could just about get away with one there, I think ...)

I do not understand people are allowed any car in the world and they are suggesting Fords and Hondas.
Running costs for one. All very well having a McLaren on the drive but a) I couldn't afford to run it, and b) I'd feel like a complete knob driving it to Uni (my workplace). An Up GTi however? It will fit on the drive and down the narrow lanes that make up 75% of my drive to work, I can afford to run it, my son will easily fit in the back, I can still have fun on busy, slowish roads in it, nobody is going to try and break in to my 3 bed semi to steal the keys and I'd always feel comfortable driving it.
