I have found a soaking wet t-shirt. Completely drenched like I'd been standing in the shower.
How did that happen?

I wonder if Ranier will be downstairs, still standing like carved rock and molded metal on the asphalt?

I wish I'd parked in the car park.

Just seen this at the top of the twisty road out.

Whoops!

Add about a hundred to that!

I may have to sell my house when I get back to pay all these fines.

It's not a rehearsal though.

WOW - Tell us more! What do you remember from last night?!!!?
Worryingly little John.

I found some pics of my phone of Frank and his wife in my hotel room at about 3am, this must be why i have the spare badge.

It was superb though, one of those things that just happen. I do remember lots of dancing with expensively attired ladies.

Reading it back I was way too harsh on Ranier and the security team, I made it a personal crusade to get in passed them but they were obviously doing a very professional job.

I have Franks card, I vaguely remember me him and his wife all arranging to visiting each other but there are no details, I'm sure he was as clueless as me the following day.

Fabulous people though, they both put up with me all night and got me through the minefield of the correct etiquette.

Difficult night to top. Really pleased I had the chance to document it on the go. I think my battery went flat shortly after going down to the do, probably just as well.

Today is my last full day out here and I'm now in Belgium. Planned to go out early and get some "Dave following the car" footage before it's too late.

Went into a service station first thing and met Ines.

A 28 year old French girl.

She helped me clean the car and we spent the day together visiting stuff in Lille and Lens.

A 28 year old French girl.

I have to point out of course that it was all above board, I have my lovely partner at home and I'm not looking for anything else but...

A 28 year old French girl.

Suddenly standing in a field cursing Dave for failing to get a connection lost its appeal.

At a lovely square in a Belgium town I don't know the name of having a small beer.
Car is swarmed.

Ive opened the door so a lady can let her kids get pics inside the car.

Coming home tomorrow, this has been some trip!

I promise you Shuv I didn't notice that, neither of those cars were there when I pulled up, I didnt even notice any markings on the bays!

I hate it when people do that too!

I never double bay park, it makes me cringe when I see people doing it.

I did walk to the end of the street and get a ticket from the machine, the whole time I sat there I didn't see anyone else bother!

What sort of pictures? You had a threesome?
I certainly wasn't capable and judging by the way Frank was swaying at 11pm I'm pretty sure he wasn't either.

I just got a cab into town and for some reason the driver asked me to put my name in his phone. They don't use the qwerty keyboard here, completely threw me.

How odd.

Your car just gets better looking with each photo, the fact the doors open up the way they do is an added bonus.
I do love McLaren for those doors!

McLarens are far from perfect but the doors and the frankly insane fking performance are always a buzz!
Downsides too though.

(Secret squirrel! This one is going to be my ex car pretty soon after I get back!)

A what?

You mean spending an age pushing that sticky up thing around in that grindy buckety thing.
Why on earth should changing gears be time limited?

You're weird.

I love this!

I came back into the pub I was parked at earlier. Started drinking and after an hour the table full of guys in the corner invited me over.

After a few beers their story emerged.

For the past 5 years they have been having a card night on Mondays.

They have told the wives they play cards.

They even visit other pubs to play cards.

One of the guys even has trophies for winning card games.

They showed me the pictures.

They have never, ever played cards.
Most of them don't even know how to.

They don't possess a pack of cards between them.

Legends!

I'm here way too late!

There are loads of young people here dressed oddly.

Its some kind of student thing.

I chased this bloke across the pub shouting "Oi mate, wait!".

It's probably time I went home.
