Slightly disappointed you didn't go the whole hog and work it at 20mph and 2000 rpm. But hey, you've got a while to plan the 300k mile effort, right?
Could do 200200 miles at 20:20 at 20mph and 2020 rpm

Why do I have the image of the Op driving around in circles in his local Sainburys carpark and then suddenly jumping out Sweeney style with a hair dryer in one hand screaming 'where's the feckin' temperature sensor' and then high-fiving everyone walking past pointing at his dash.

Well done Op (I think...)

There certainly are many occasions when things which have been done badly or without any attention to the most basic details really annoy us all and the "These pictures make my teeth itch" thread is the testament to how common this is. In fact, I've had a few pictures in that thread myself. However, there are times when something requires a bit of planning and effort, and works out exactly as you intended making you feel smugly superior.

I have managed to pull off the picture below yesterday, it required some planning and a bit of effort on the day when the outside temperature wouldn't rise above 13-14C to get the external temperature sensor to read the necessary figure, and I feel far more satisfied about having managed it than a grown man really should. The universe is in order... Mrs QQ, on the other hand, can't stop laughing at me about my little accomplishment.

Am I alone in feeling like this?

Women will never have true equality until they genuinely understand just how vitally important total, senseless crap like this is. biggrin
