So that's a secure car park?
Who pays out -the car park or the car owner?
They'll be signs everywhere saying 'We are not responsible for any damage'
unfair contract terms?

Are you ok if I post the photos to the Audi S3 owners club page on Facebook?

Do you know the full reg?

I bet someone knows the vehicle and will be able to contact the owner. As you say, it can't be good it sitting out in the rain like that.

Why? So you can ruin their holiday? So other scroates know the location of an insecure S3 and can go and strip the interior and whatever else they can get away with?

Good one OP!

TBH if it was my generic, rented Audi the damage has already been done. I’d rather enjoy the rest of my holiday without knowing and let the insurance fun and games begin when I get back.

Thread reported to the Mods who can hopefully remove the location at least rolleyes

If its just the wheels, glass and damp thats repairable, but if they’ve also pinched the ‘S’ interior bling I wouldn’t want that back, it will never be the same.

It's not extreme at all, perhaps you'd feel the same if it were your property that had been stolen.

it doesn`t matter how valuable or what was taken, scum that steal/damage anyone`s property (especially the ones who break into houses and intimidate to get car keys) don`t deserve even basic human rights, treat them like the animals they act like
That's not happened in this case, the owners have come home to find their car is damaged, not the same is it?

Last time I checked cancer wasn't a punishment for damaging a car.

Had my bike stolen last month, I don't wish death on whoever nicked it.

If my car gets destroyed by a thief tomorrow then them being locked up and me getting the money from insurance is sufficient recourse.

I won't be wishing them terminal cancer.

Grow up.

Amazing, even in a thread about someone’s car being broken into and fked up, comment has to be made about how people chose to pay for their cars.

PH is PH.

What I mean is that it’s a current, easily replaceable car. It will get dealt with.

Since having a motorbike stolen a few years back, I firmly believe that anyone caught stealing should have their left hand removed. If caught a second time, then it's bye bye to the right.

They do it because they know they won't get caught or if they do, they'll just end up with a slap on the wrist.

they are scum, scum that`s growing and making this kind of thing all too common. a few of them getting bumped off might make a number of them think twice before stealing someone`s property. I`m not being a PH hero saying I would/could do anything but if you were to read one scrote got killed during an attempted robbery would you have sympathy?

No one would bat an eye lid. You’d get the family and friends saying he/she was a great person and wouldn’t harm a fly but the reality is most of them now would not hesitate to hurt you should there be enough of them if you caught them at it.

Sadly there’s only one thing these tts understand and it’s not a hug.

I think you might be alone in that sentiment. Most of us would like to know ahead of our return so that we can plan to deal with it, especially if arriving back from a holiday with 2-3 kids in tow. Even if they're not asleep, they'll be a nightmare while parents are trying to organise alternative transport home plus deal with the car; significantly worse headache if they're asleep. Even if I'm travelling alone, which I do a lot for work, I would still rather know in advance so that I can plan rather than just turn up to a wreck.

The car is badly damaged as it is, and in a part of London where scrotes are in plentiful supply, so putting up its location on PH will make no difference to its chances of being further damaged. Opinions from other users also seem to agree with the "know ahead and plan" attitude rather than the head in the sand "la la la, I can't hear anything" strategy. You know, some people realise that st happens but it's much easier to clean up the mess if one has time to plan and be organised.

Less than sensible, and quite a passive aggressive use of the report forum abuse button. I do hope that mods leave it as it is.

The only place I'd park at Heathrow are the official car parks by the terminals where they have monitored cctv keeping a watch for terrorists and have armed police on patrol 24/7.

I agree. Imagine coming home at 2 in the morning after an 8 hour flight to find that - At least with advance warning SP can can arrange a tow and book a hire car in advance rather than having their pants pulled down as been last minute - and hopefully be able to discuss options with his insurance co.

I'm not completely stupid and I haven't posted the location on Facebook.

How would you feel arriving home from 2 weeks away to find your car disabled. You've got no transport, luggage and you want to get home. Now you have to deal with the car too.

I'd appreciate knowing so I could make arrangements.

fk me, you are so PH, the PH-o'meter just blew up rofl

'generic, rented Audi'

It's a 2017 S3 Black edition, and the owner owns it outright.

If it was my car, I'd want to know, the last thing you need when you fly in at 2am (or whatever time) is to be faced with that and have to deal with it.

Knowing now means the owner could call their insurance company, get it reported and likely recovered and be in a hire car when they land home and deal with it later.

Unbelievable rofl

God - I really don't know what I'd do coming back to that. Police first I suppose and then it's cab home and call the insurance.
While I was waiting I'd be asking a few questions in hotel reception, that's for sure.
