Are you on the list ?
I've been on the list for 18 months now and I've got a 650S spider and also had a 570S. McLaren owners will be given first dibs and rightly so !

I've had 4 Ferrari's and did not get a sniff at a 488 PISsTAke
I think it's likely that you can get a 600LT if you order now, ditto a Performante.

Pista is zero chance, only Ferrari has the brand strength to control sales in the way they do, and Porsche on GT cars to a lesser extent.

I've never liked the rear of the 570's this looks like it's going to fix it, it also hints at active rear aero which I hope is the case, it'd make the LT a mini-PI which would be perfect.

The question was for Maldini and seemed to imply that non existing McOwners were going to be able to buy.
IMO, the Mclaren dealerships might play hard to get initially but there's a decent chance a non existing owner will be able to get an allocation of the P13R if you keep at the dealership and not just banging on their door the day of the launch date (goodwood).

I do find it amusing 911R was complaining about difficulty in getting allocations when he himself is the beneficary of getting a car like a 991.2gt3...

Ooooh, that looks very nice! Slightly 918 styling on the exhausts.

Saw some limited edition 720s not along ago. The Track etc etc there's 5-6 of them. Jesus they were hideous. The track was presented to me as one of one for £320,000

It was basically a white 720 S with track oriented options, buckets, track pack, special paint scheme and no more power. Oh it was white and had orange stripes and orange pinstripes on its black wheels. I left the showroom thinking Loretta from Essex couldn't have specced the poor car more terribly.
Bizarre post to add to this thread about the 570

Some wealthy people speccing cars have bad taste shock horror

Thankfully I’ve never seen a green 911 with a peacock blue leather interior and black wheels...oh hang on...

If you haven’t been to Dubai before then you’re in for a treat
Whats bizzare is numpties do not realise these are all basically the same cars. I live in Dubai munchkins.

Here's a pic. 1 of 1 Gold investment opportunity! £120,000 on top of list for a few option any wrapping could do for £1000 lol

Who really cares... Someone with plenty of money will buy one and be happy. The End. I can never understand why people pop a vein re what companies offer, what individuals spend their money on. It happens all the time. They throw money at expensive ugly homes, gaudy jewellery/bling, trophy women, cars, parties... you name it. Always have. Always will. I'm a very long way from being wedged. I might walk into a close shop I hadn't planned to, see a shirt and think I'll have that...
It wouldn't surprise me if the 720's you speak of aren't bought in the same way... people who don't have to weigh it up... Do I buy a stock 720 and get it wrapped or shall get this one right here and now... they've probably made £120k while thinking it over... Of course I jest but plenty of folk have the money not to care about the things you've highlighted.

As a buyer I thought why would i want to buy that when I can spec my own 720 S however I want for less than 320,000?

The emphasis was that it was put over to me as an investment opportunity lol. The issue it also looks hideous to my eye made me laugh even more.

Forums are about opinions and info? Not sure what your point is. Did you know that a 1 of 1 720 s "track" was being released. If not you just learned something.

Keep up at the back....

No I didn't know about the 1 of 1 but why would I? Is the car in Dubai, where you live? I ask as I wouldn't want to presume anything wink

Tastes vary from person to person and across cultures. In the early 2000's I had a holiday in Northern Cyprus, quiet, different. Looking in the shops as you doing whilst doing the tourist bit, the stuff the passed for high end jewellery was big, ugly in ya face stuff that looked like it fell out of a Christmas cracker. No one I know would be in the market for it but they obviously know their clientele. I agree with you re the 1 of 1 but someone will buy it.
Funny that they offered it to you, maybe visually you fit the profile, big gaudy jewellery etc... wink. Again I jest.

I'll try to keep up but I suspect you're much to sharp and clever for me. smile

Whilst I don’t necessarily disagree, I’m still not sure what your point is re the subject of this thread.

Forums are about opinions yes but normally focussed around a topic. You seem to have strayed somewhat by ranting about a different car whose spec you don’t like.

Are you suggesting the 570 LT is just an expensive paint job?
If so I would ask how you know?
Do you know the tech specs and engineering differences from the cooking 570?
Do you know the price of the 570LT?

I’m guessing you don’t know any of the above which makes your 720S observation less relevant at this stage.
