I was thinking similar direction - Austin 1100/1300 and friends. Or Allegro. My, BL did build a lot of "shooting brakes". <thinks> "Shooting broke"?

Am I the only one who quite likes that chrome bit in the D pillar?

Particularly odd, as I can't stand chrome on cars and would probably spec it with black trim everywhere if it were mine!

Ah, yes. The lesser-spotted Mk3 Escort shooting brake...
I can't help but feel you set him up for that. Lol

Saw this car driving through the center of London yesterday; driving in the congestion zone meaning of 'sitting in traffic'. Walked past it and had a good look from all angles and I have to say it looked damned nice. Sufficiently different from a normal tesla to be really quite special and in a gorgeous deep green. I don't know what it costs, but seeing it in real life it looked very bespoke. And of course he saved £12 by not having to pay the congestion charge.

Buy a Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo either 4 E-Hybrid or Turbo E-Hybrid and save yourself money. Then when on your way to the south of France, you arrive at Autoroute service station, only to find the Tesla Supercharger is out of service, you can then just fill up with petrol and go merrily on your way. Best of both worlds. On my 4 E-Hybrid, I am now averaging over 50 mpg on a mixture of short and medium journeys.
