Last time I drove a RS6 the last thing on my mind as oh I wished this was a manual , actually try one and you will understand , I was more thinking yeah this is pretty brisk for a huge estate plus grinning ALOT on the Banchory to fettercairn road .
Totally agree. Of course it's heavy. But the acceleration is nothing short of brutal. Off the line it's obviously very quick, but the 30-70 is almost unnerving.Do we know the approximate release date of the new rs6?

I may be completely wrong here; however, I thought you couldn't fit tow bars on Audi RS models for some reason and therefore if you wanted a fast Audi for towing you had to get an S model? Looks like the RSQ8 will change that.
The lack of a tow bar these days is usually down to the lack of a type-approved solution. It's fairly normal for car manufacturers to hook up heavy trailers to pretty much anything for testing purposes, because it gives the transmission and chassis components a really hard time and is likely to highlight any weaknesses early.
Whether there ends up being a type approved towbar fitting for production is usually at the manufacturer's discretion.

"Performance SUV" - this is a bit of a marketing spiel, isn't it? I do get that if you stick a Saturn 5 rocket into that 2.5ish tonne tub of lard it will go fast (in a straight line), but that isn't everything.etc

How are those not valid though? I drive around London a lot, and the number of people (usually moms on a school run) who have something enormous like a Q7 or RR and can't fit it in the lane or turn properly without blocking entire junction is ridiculous. I have a sizable car and somehow I don't have a problem. Heck, even long wheel base vans do a much better job.etc
They’re valid complaints in the minds of car forum bores who think they’re the arbiters of motoring. Normal, well adjusted adults just buy the cars that make them happy and let other people make their own choices
As always though, everyone is entitled to an opinion. I’m liking this car more each time I see it. It’s a handsome beast and will do everything required of it with power and authority. There are some other cars I don’t like, but I don’t tend to go around questioning the manhood of those that own them
Off topic, has anyone seen the trailer for Groundhog Day 2?
