Congratulations dbzen!
Other than the base colour, how else did you spec it and which artists have you picked for the two CDs?
RudeDog - dealer never told me it only takes 2 CDs! Re the spec, the pack I went for has no neon in sight and to me at least looks much more subtle despite the stripe. Have specced carbon wherever possible (including the badge) and the diamond turn wheels which I’m hoping should look good. Extras (including B&O) have pushed it well past the list price but am hoping this is a long term keeper so wanted it to be right and not regret scrimping! Hearing from the dealer that quite a few speccing the halo pack (neon stripe etc) so be great to see some on the road in the UK but was just too in your face for my wife to take the car on the school run :-)
Also interestingly heard from dealer that this car together with the Zagato Shooting break will be the last AM production run of a NA V12. Pleased to be getting the last of a dying breed of AM, am sure they’ll do a great job on the DBS but have to admit was a little surprised they didn’t continue at least one last generation of NA V12 like Ferrari with the 812

What is rear legspace like on these? I seem to remember it being said that it was poor on a review maybe harry's garage even compared to a 2 door Maserati granturismo?
Yes agree smaller than Maserati GT, I’m 6 foot and can squeeze into back of a Rapide and would be ok for a 30-45min journey. For adults 5’10” or shorter it would be fine for longish journeys and fine for kids right up to teenage years. It’s certainly snug in the back but the seats aren’t a joke like AM and other 2+2s, closer to 4 seat maser coupe than AM/Porsche 2+2 in terms of rear space/usability Its definitely a bit snug in the back for big/tall people - well look at that gorgeous roofline and the rear mounted transaxle gearbox compromise...! But I think it really is about having kids and not being forced to use the DD on weekends/holidays. That's' an irrelevant consideration if you have no kids or have no kids at home of course... But OP and many of us do. I did not want to be here with my DD oil burner works car (even if it was 500LbFt):
Dogs? We had a look Louie but he's too leggy! You'd be fine with a Spaniel
I also think it rather bad forum buddy form to knock someone else's imminent new car - you don't really gain anything by doing it.

Reviving this chain post my factory visit to Gaydon last week, very special day arranged by my dealer and even had the honour to briefly meet Dr Palmer! First visit to factory as was super impressed by the operations and the passion of the staff ...particularly Nick D who lead us around on our tour who clearly have AM in the blood and is an amazing fountain of knowledge on the brand and the craft that goes into making these beautiful cars.
I got to see my freshly painted car in the flesh albeit minus chassis and engine, the Scintilla silver with China grey stripe combo looked great and can’t wait to see the finished vehicle before Xmas! Did see a near complete car in the halo signature colours and spec - looked amazing and a brilliant evolution of the Rapide including the one-77 steering wheel and AMR interior which really suited it. These cars will be the last naturally aspirated V12 cars off the production line which will make them that little bit more special + last 4 seat saloon under the AM brand given any further saloons planned under Lagonda brand only. Fascinated to see the DBX in due course but love the fact the rapide has its own little niche in the market (4 door 4 seat super saloon vs 2 door 4 seat Ferrari’s and all the Uber lux SUVs emerging).

Bit of a thread revival...
Hope those that have taken delivery are enjoying.
Being No1 Rapide fan boi I had a test drive and the AMR really works cohesively . They haven't killed the ride on a GT in order to make it harder edged 'R' at all. It remained very compliant and comfortable - despite upping to 21" wheels too and not having air sus. Quad tail pipes were a nice addition and that full length carbon fibre centre console was just stunning. All in all a great 600bhp swansong to the Rapide - you wouldn't believe how fast, balanced, grippy and planted it is - inspires huge confidence en-famile
