back to reality. what's the betting that car will either be quietly reduced, or still be for sale next year ?!

Proper. Close to no depreciation at the asking price too. Although there’ll be a £25k mark up on a car like this. Somehow with man-maths you can make it as affordable as a Hyundai i20......somehow....

Worth Double a manual V10 Audi R8 ??

With similar underpinnings, engine and gearbox. Not for my money.
My thoughts exactly.

I'm sure the "because Lamborghini" gang will be along shortly to tell us how wrong we are smile
But the R8 is 4wd! So you're back to square 1. A 4wd Gallardo starts at 75ishk doesn't it?

The R8 just does nothing for me. I think the badge is not special enough. Whether or not the Lambo is ‘worth’ twice as much is a moot point. But the badge definitely is. There’s an automotive aristocracy of which Lamborghini is a member. You can’t buy that!

Makes the 400bhp/1100kg TVR T cars look good value to me. You could buy a dog and re chassis, engine and trim it for 1/3 of this price and have something equally, if not more, entertaining.

How fking pitiful that a manual supercar is now a rarity worth celebrating.
It’s amazing what a Henry Catchpole video does. Especially when quite a few reviews at the time said the manual despite being great on track was crap in RHD form.

Next we’ll be wanting for a manual Roller...

For me, the game has too many investors in it.

But not all circles get excited over 3 pedals with a clutch pedal in the mix. Take the Mercedes boys...

Lovely!

Makes me wonder though, could you manual swap an LP-560 and do a 4wd delete for less than the price of this.

If someone wants to send me £140k i'll find out laugh
I've done this to a murcielago.

I could do it to Gallardo for under £10K including parts (probably cheaper, it cost less than that on the murcie, and parts are more expensive; the Gallardo is an R8 under the skin).
