Skoda has claimed the 'seven-seat SUV' lap record for its new range-topper at the Nordschleife
So this is faster than an X5 M50d with 7 seats? I'm pretty sure you can spec 7 seats on the X5M too. I bet an XC90 T8 would hold it's own against this.
Seems to me that because nobody else has bothered to put a title on something, you are free to claim you are the best at it.
The Zafira is an MPV, not a SUV.
The transit time was BTG iirc, so should add 30-35s to that time (~10:35) so this time is descent, actually most cars on the road would struggle.
If I really needed 7 seats, I would have a hard time finding something that makes me happy as a driver... Ford?

But nearly a whole 180 mm taller. When trying to pull out of a parking space in my non-lowered 2 series, I can see past the arse of an Insignia to check for traffic... I cant with a Kodiaq (plus I detest the misspelling Kodiak).
And I can’t see past the arse of your 2 Series when pulling out of parking spaces in my Elise. But fortunately I know how to drive, so it’s not a problem. However must you cope when you’re next to a van!

I know how to drive, part of this is looking to see if traffic is coming before driving out in front of it. If I cant see due to the fact some selfish tt has bought a massive car to ferry around their one kid, that puts me in a more dangerous situation through no fault of my own.
Van drivers don't really have a choice in the type of vehicles they drive.. SUV drivers do.
I don’t have a problem getting my Elise out of parking spaces - just reverse in, and pull out more slowly keeping a good look and listen out. Hardly rocket science - you should try it.
And you’re right, we did have a choice when we got our SUV - second choice on the list was a VW Caravalle. AKA a van.

So I hate being put in that position by other people's selfishness.
So are you saying that everybody should buy the same height car as you, so everybody can see over them easily? Because a world of identikit cars all the same height sounds a bit dull to me. Or are you saying that you are selfish, because you bought a tall 2 Series and block the view of MX5 and Elise drivers? Because like it or not, there are always going to be some cars that are taller than yours, and some cars that are shorter than yours.
