Horrible interior.

And no bonnet spoiler

And the 'lost badge'

Shame really.

I loved mine. Silver with black cloth (which I upgraded to leather) and originally a tip auto (great box until the main shaft fails) which I converted to manual. Also had the pretty rare 'carbon fibre' interior kit.

Or it looses oil....

1998 Just graduate Uni and want to upgrade my swift to a sorts coupe ,on the list was
celica to common, Calibra not much avialble in Oz, prelude so expensive and Mazda/eunos Mx3 well love the prelude driving but the digital dash at the fact in oz i could only afford a model with 100,000Km meant i ended up with noble green MX3

Loved that car.

I never liked these, looking flipping boring, made worse by the headlights and dull paint colours. This a time Honda produced a lot of boring looking cars for the pipe and slippers club.

So I read a long time ago that several design houses put forward to Honda designs for this gen Prelude, either by invitation or speculatively, and this was the Japanese design that eventually won. Has anyone ever seen any of the other designs? I'm sure one was Bertone or Pininfarina.
