Er, no, it was a 4.2 (4215cc actually), or are you confusing the nomenclature with a 4.3 TVR-use engine (which was 4280cc and 280bhp)?
It was 4275cc* (94.0 mm x 77.0 mm) - it used the crankshaft castings from the Iceberg diesel V8 project. TVR did use a 4280cc** (94.05 mm x 77.0 mm) lump.
