Bugger! rolleyes

Well she's on eBay for parts now if anyone fancies dropping a superb T16 engine into basically anything.

Won't the rearscreen come under glass cover on your insurance?
Insurance glass suppliers don't do them, all the glass people I have spoken to don't do them. Even Rimmer Brothers don't carry them in stock can get one.
I have also tried Honda but they don't do them at all.

Had a walk around it this morning, great colour and interior is in top condition. Only 190 there. Remarkable how small it is compared to the newer cars. Cannot help but think a new engine with 300 bhp or so, would be really good fun.
Mercedes did this a few years ago:

Tried a breakers? It'd be a shame to see it scrapped for the want of a rear screen (I have to admit to going on the hunt for glass when I saw the ebay link mind). The sadly expensive method would be a custom made screen from the likes of Pilkington Glass.

All my local breakers. Too old or not old enough. The Ti being broken on eBay, various part search sites; but I have hope because some local banger guys cut window out instead of smashing them. If they've got a screen I know a fitter.

Someone suggested while she has MOT get my grinder out and make a dirtbag spec' pick up. rolleyes

So if you're in the market for a Mesa red Lexus GS300 SE-L (facelift) with the oh so barge-friendly wood steering wheel let me know!
After foolishly selling my mint LS400 a couple of months ago and buying a Laguna GT which is most certainly not a barge (what was I thinking?!), I'm really tempted by GS300s. Tell me more!

Where were the pics of the Laguna? You don't see many of them!

What about the online ones like partsgateway if the local banger racers tap out? I've had some rarer bits off them on occasion.

Talk of Laguna showed me this 3.0 V6 estate. I’ll bet the vagueness hiding behind that bus like steering wheel and the squishiness of those armchairs would be a fab way to wait for recovery.

I've warmed slightly to the Laguna in the last week. It seems relativity well screwed together, and can be quick. It is certainly grippy. But it is not refined. I don't mean it isn't quiet, it is at speed (typical diesel at idle), but rather that the controls are not refined. Loose gear change, all or nothing acceleration, hard ride. I've just been spoilt by Lexus, really. The lex didn't corner as well, but everything was just so thoroughly..... developed and resolved. Maybe that's a definition of a barge. They cosset.

Mate of mine was doing exactly that, sitting back in the comfy seats waiting in a layby for recovery. He didn't get to relax too long as it caught fire and saved the AA the bother laugh

They are still superb motor cars. Mine had a brush-up yesterday. It’ll be off to market soon, making way for something else. Also an individual car with a nice, unusual spec. Spanish too.

2005 750i, low miles, 3500. Tedious black/ black, but that’s cheap... esp with night vision...

Looks good. What engine is in it?

As it's Spanish I'm interested in it for a drift project (joke).

The night vision on my old 750 was utterly useless...

You can. The car's got a 'car park' wrap. It's a big thing in pharmaceutical sales circles, so they can hide from the feds.

ETA: Never seen that before? Just shows how well it works.
