I'll join the love-in. Black and 175k is a pity, but rarity and internal colours compensate. LHD would normally deter but now living on the Continent the novelty of the Brit-stretch every time I enter a car park or toll booth in the Lexus is beginning to get tedious. Great spot.
Likewise, a lovely thing for someone.

The leather is in incredible condition for the age, I've worked on significantly worse in 5 year old cars. Unless it's had a degree of a re-trim.

Think I posted this E220 when it first came up to a fairly meh reception, now 2450 with a new ticket, seems pretty straight...

Oh, and I've just established that a 5.5 supercharged V8 with off-the-scale emissions is somehow exempt from the London ULEZ, which is to be extended to the end of my road in 2021 (by which time the car will be worth at least £40,000, and have developed the ability to repair itself).

Curious about this one as someone returning to London with a car - how is the E55 exempt?

It's been for sale at Motorhub since at least March 2018. It has been sold a few times before:

2008 158,300 miles £975
2011 166,000 miles £2550
2013 170,000 miles £?
2018 206,000 miles £3989 unsold
2019 206,000 miles £2989 unsold

Nick Froome
Being Motorhub I'm just surprised that the mileage/date readings aren't reversed.

I'm having dirty thoughts about this S124, only problem is it's Motorhub!
Are Motorhub not a good, reliable, honest, reputable dealer then?

Any love on here for a very basic early 230TE in accountant blue with velooooooour? No rust if he is to be believed, although the Spanish aspect might not suit everyone.

One of my w124s was a manual and they are a very slow deliberate box, not my cup of tea but some do prefer them but 1k for an estate isn't bad

Dad had a W124 200E estate, manual. He thought it was a great box.

Needs ambers and a good clean on the inside, but I quite like that. £1k so cheap.

Like I said some do prefer them, my brother hates automatic cars he's even gone out of his way to buy a couple of manual range rovers each to their own

My dad ordered a manual E220 estate when I was learning to drive, was a lovely car in Malachite Green with corresponding green cloth. Drove it to Isle of Skye and back on his insurance at 17 and 18 years old.

Just after I was born, my grandad bought a Thistle green (with date interior) w123 200 manual Spartan spec, which was then passed down to my dad. Got to drive it quite often until it succumbed to rust when I was 21. Don't really see what the fuss was about concerning manual Mercs tbh, I thought it was ok, and I grew up with slick-shifting Japanese stuff.

Been for sale forever. Started at £8k way back in 2016 or 17. Still over-priced. It’s had bodge in a rear wheel arch and one of the wings has a blurb which will have worsened since the pics were taken.

I love the colours. Obvs.

I love them as well. Just imagine ordering it and seeing it brand new for the first time. Bravo!

I tried searching for it but didn’t find it from its last appearance. I am sure we will see D443NCY again.
