Looks very tidy indeed - congrats!

ETA: I meant to say - somewhat cheesy - but gingercated, late pre-facelift = fist bump cool

She - assuming the sex for you there - looks good. Really makes me want to get on and ginger up mine. Anyone who thinks silver and ginger do not go needs to take a long hard look in the mirror.

Bang tidy! cool
I've never lived with a 987, but the test drives left me a bit meh. Perhaps extended drive or ownership would change my opinion but for my needs the 986 is where it's at.

This looks superb, assume it comes with a nice complete history. Enjoy.

Nice car, great photos.

A pal has a 51 reg Boxster S, no idea what model number that would be ( I am an Alfa man !), but having driven his a few times I must say that the build quality is way above anything else I have ever driven.

They feel so solid, especially as its a convertible.

By the way, I quite like the colour combination, may I suggest an alloy colour change to anthracite/black maybe ?

Controversial

I see more chatter about wheel colour than almost anything else - ok slight exaggeration.

Very capable cars!

I’m taking mine on a little tour of the South of France in August and can’t wait. I’ve had mine for 7 years and in that time I’ve only done about 15,000 miles and is very much a second or third car but it’s always a pleasure.

I think they’re starting to get prettier now too with their simple lines. Aging very gracefully.

I hope you enjoy your new purschase.

Photo taken after a very memorable NYE blast.

Cmoose, if you fancy a few spare parts (old cats & radiators), you can come and pick my old 986 parts, free! I've offered to a few gents on boxa already but they were pretty far away from London so they could not... We are moving home soon (big reason why I sold mine last year:/), so heavy old chunks has to go! laugh

Polar silver wheels can be a nice (very subtle) contrast to an Arctic silver car.

Not sure I see anything wrong with current wheels... except maybe op may prefer square setup?

Nice car. I had a lovely 986S, which I sort of regret selling. I’m thinking I may well go for a 987 next Spring.

Looks great! My dad used to have a pre-facelift 986S, now a 987S. The difference in refinement was huge. I was too young to drive so can’t comment on driving impressions, but I do remember using earplugs for all longer trips in the 986. Never considered doing that in the 987. Doesn’t excactly make it a better sports car though!

Rocket.

Ooof that’s a good choice and the right colour. Red interior would have been perfect but the condition looks good.

Nice car!

Doesn’t look like your centre caps are correctly aligned wink

Looks to be in great condition -enjoy.

I started out looking at 986’s, scared myself reading forums like this and ended up in 987.2 S PDK at lots more than my original budget - still love it though
