Sadly the V8 engine sounded great but didn't put the right numbers on the road. I did 106K in my RS4 with the same engine, it never was close to the 412bhp claimed, rollers showed at best 375bhp on mine and most others. It is quite lovely, though. No doubt about it.

R8 V10+ owner actually, wow imagine having such objectivity and not simply blindly sucking up Audi PR AND owning one.... Posters who simply pitch up, have 15 goes at getting their first post right and then just regurgitate 'interested party' lines are worthy of derision. You have said lots, but said nothing. Either you'll be back at school soon or you'll tell us which part of Audi you work for....or which jet wash puts the best swirl marks on my Audi when they let you wash it?
