A really impressive achievement in all its aspects.
Could wish that they had kept the original and beautiful wheelarch profiles but all in all still amazing.

Having to go backwards in styling tells u something cars are getting too big old 911 versions were perfect size not the fat wide versions of today
Having sold more 911s today than ever before tells you something - Porsche know precisely what their target market wants and is extremely profitable as a result.
They might know their market, but that doesn't make red's comment invalid.

I was out in the red prototype yesterday....one of the most incredible engines I've ever experienced. Reminds me of a McLaren F1 in terms of inertia (or complete lack of...) and noise. It's an astonishing car, once you see it and take in all the details you can totally see where the price tag comes from. It's just mind blowing!
The only problem I have with this car is the poverty spec wink Singer is so perfect this feels like gilding the lily.

I'd prefer visually earlier Singer creations.
But, they are all bespoke design/build, so buyer gets what buyer wants and is prepared to pay for.

Obviously some Singer customers have more discreet/sublime tastes than others have.

Was also on ITV4 last night.
If I understood right they were not using anything like full revs.
Still sounds great despite the commentators talking all over it

I've got the perfect plate for mine, '964 DLS'

This is going to be one serious car to add to the collection, the attention to detail is unreal. They do offer an option to spec all the chrome/brushed aluminium parts in rose gold, just like the rev counter. I hope no one specs theirs with rose gold, it'll look like that awful DeTomaso P72.
