Most European/continent drivers and many Mercs drive with stubby 16" steelies over the winter months (unless you have proper AMG pack where callipers may be too large) apologies if this has been mentioned.

I don't miss my big low profile wheels, utter pain in the arse over here in the UK...sometimes swerving them just isn't an option on busy roads and not safe, good riddance and I am back in my BMW with 16" balloon tyres no worries now and a healthier bank balance due to stupid prices and repairs.

It’s 20 inch or nothing on the 8 series in the UK but hopefully BMW have learned from the debacle a few years ago and now make their big wheels a bit more robust.

Early RFTs contributed - put far more force through the wheel than a non-RFT.
