I'm a fan of a dark metallic exterior (green or blue, possibly red) with a light leather interior. My current X-Type is this, my previous Saab 9-5 was this, as was my Honda Accord before that. Works for me.
Of course, I am at the mercy of the first buyer. The one new car I did buy was dark blue with cream leather, though.

It's just dealer bullst - that same salesman would have knocked the part-ex down, as it's a horrible colour with nasty seats - but come sell time it's the best combo!

Current trend now is to put 'investment-grade' after anything vaguely interesting..

German cars should be be black with black, boring to some but I like it.
