This is like asking "What type of girl/woman do you prefer?" - there are options for a reason...
Blonde or dark hair...what's that? It was a rhetorical point....aah

I'm a fan of a dark metallic exterior (green or blue, possibly red) with a light leather interior. My current X-Type is this, my previous Saab 9-5 was this, as was my Honda Accord before that. Works for me.

Of course, I am at the mercy of the first buyer. The one new car I did buy was dark blue with cream leather, though.

It's just dealer bullst - that same salesman would have knocked the part-ex down, as it's a horrible colour with nasty seats - but come sell time it's the best combo!

Dealer lingo bingo it's called.

Current trend now is to put 'investment-grade' after anything vaguely interesting..

I am a sucker for Italian cars in black with red leather.
German cars should be be black with black, boring to some but I like it.

That horrendous silver trim on the rear bumper ruins it completely.

Dark and light interior for me. Can't stand black interiors, boring. But many cars come in safe spec it seems.
