Yet more daft clichés on PH. So the cliche is baseball cap AND shaved head? I can only assume that you see the drivers take their cap off whilst you're looking at them to determine both of those attributes?
I also find it sad someone would actually not buy a car, even if it's a very good car and better than the competitors, purely because of how they think others will view them. The only people who will judge you for your car are not worth worrying about.... They're the sort of people who believe and spread all stupid clichés

It would only be the briefest of glances, I don't want more than a hint of gangsta in my life thanks.E65Ross said:

Do you. I'm pretty sure people make judgements of that nature every day, if they're honest. Not you obviously, oh no. You're too busy being sad.

Those looks you get driving your car? People think you're a dick, and they're about to spread howwible howwible stupid howwible cliches about you. mwstewart said:
AMGs used to have a bit of elegance about them, but those days are long gone. It's a real shame.
I've always seen AMGs as brute force cars and the epitome of a tyre smoking machine...elegance has never been on the menu for me. I like the brashness of AMG, if you want calm and collected you go to BMW or Audi I reckon.

BMW have very much taken over from them in this respect.
As an m4 driver I can say the merc is a very good looking car. Arguably sounds better but that's relative to the owner. I like the m4s slightly faked but nice sounding 6. The merc is afflicted with trickery on the Noise front also.
Is the m4 a better driver's car. Yes although I've only drive the normal 63 coupe not the S. It's simply more dynamic and handles better.
However I'm glad we have a choice. Not tired the Alfa or the new Lexus but it's good times for the big engines coupe.

The grille from a 1950s Ford Consul and stupid matte paint are current M-B styling fads which will hopefully become history fairly soon.
Dreadful interior - still that nailed on iPad thing, ridiculously complicated and distracting steering wheel and really rather Cheshire on the whole.
C43 4Matic is at least a little less ugly - but why no body coloured mirrors?

That's a shame for you then I couldn't care what my car supposedly says about me. It works for me and that's what matters
You’re better off trying to ignore these folk. You can’t reason with unreasonable people. If someone can’t see what a dick head they’re being by pigeonholing people based on the car they drive, then pointing it out will only confuse them further Kenny Powers said:

Came out of a Range Rover Sport into it, and prior to that an F80 M3 - all in the last 18 months. So how to pigeonhole me based on the car I drive? Do I change my personality on the day I buy my new car? I need to change my cars less often, granted...

The thing is, a C63, a Range Rover Sport and an M3 do classify you as a particular kind of person. The industry does good business knowing what particular people buy.Anyway, I have a white C63 Coupe, but I’m 45 and work in a Bank. Anyone who utters the "I couldn't care what my car supposedly says about me" cliche needs to have a think. Because it's proven time and again not to be true. People who thinks they make a decision buying a car without any kind of external influence, and by extension what they hope it says about them when they've bought it, is living in ignorance.jon-yprpe said:

Oh OK, the lazy old "I don't like what someones says about me/my car, have no coherent counter-argument so I'll just call them a troll" cliche.jon-yprpe said:

So briefly above we have a chap showing off how quickly he changes his (subjective) nice cars, how well paid his job is, and total lack of irony. Just for fun could you tell me if you have a tattoo or short hair? Edited by popeyewhite on Thursday 26th July 11:22
