The issue with almost all the cars on sale is that they are almost all grey like a fleet of rented base German cars. Everything is grey and bland these days but you would have thought that the AM community had a little more life and money than the average punter having to pay homage to the rules of borrowing?
See my link a couple of posts above, pretty much perfect amongst the sea of grey and blacks.

Hi guys, do you all drive your Rapide everyday or once a week? if you don't do you charge it with trickle charger after several days of driving? also does this car have a main switch to turn off? As my dad gonna buy from a private seller soon & don't seems able to find much info about Rapide 2009-2010 version

I thought they came out in 2010?

Anyway - yes just get a £50 CTek charger and, like any car not used frequently, plug it in smile There might be a battery cut off switch but you will need a torx screwdriver for the screws under rear carpet flap and far better to just plug it in so you retain all settings/values.

Right, so Ctek still the best way i suppose.

apart of this, such long front car do you guys add any addition front camera? i know there is a sensor but my dad he actually may want to add a front camera, do you guys have any commendation? this car will be a sharing car within the family, so he want to add this feature, for the idiot proof lol

My daughter and son in law bought their 2013 Rapide almost a year ago now. It is not a daily driver and they keep it on a Ctek as everyone has suggested. It is fitted with a Vodaphone monitored “live” tracker and there have never been any issues.

Because their driveway is quite narrow, they had James at Aston Installations put in front and rear cameras. These are great and there are never any issues, I ‘d love to have them on my V8 Vantage even though it is physically a smaller car!

By the way the car is a stunning shade of silver, with black interior highlighted by white stitching.

Cheers, David
