Pretty sure 158 ( or very close to that) was the most that UK ones came with, and don't think even JDM models were even close to 187.isn't a VTEC.

I have got a Gen 4 Honda Civic, same engine etc that we keep in Bali as a run-around when we go there for the weekend. Wife keeps saying we should get something newer, but its just too much fun to get rid of, lightweight, simple, revvy VTEC (innit). Very refreshing after all these modern cars.
I take it you have done the B series conversion?, the EF 4 door sedan never came with a VTEC engine, only the hatch (VT / SiR).

Love these little things!
Even the standard engine provides enough razzzle to have fun in the 30-90mph area and low weight help it keep more powerful cars at bay .. this Best Motoring vid shows the CRX versus the Civic VTI, Toyota AE86 , Mazda MX5 and a few others - - the CRX was 2.5 seconds a lap faster than a MX5 around Tsukuba!

You're very welcome - it's nice to be able to share something with you for a change as normally it's me enjoying all the magazine features you post!!Thanks for the link
I could be wrong but I think that particular Ae86 is owned by one of the racers/presenters Keiichi Tsuchiya as it features in a LOT of their videos. That or the guys have access to dozens of white Ae86s. If it's his one then it is far from standard and is often used as a benchmark for far more powerful cars to try and match.
Everyone with an interest in 80s/90s cars should have a look at the Best Motoring channel on Youtube - there are some utterly fantastic videos of standard cars & tuner cars being driven to a very very high standard around Tsukuba / Eibusu touge tracks with quite a detailed analysis - the 5-7 lap races really show the difference between standard road cars an the limits of brakes/tyres compared with some of the more advance track cars which only seem to get faster an faster as the laps go on.
My best mate had a white mark one in 1995, similar to the spotted car. Quite a rare car even in period.
For me the definition of "pocket rocket" - small, surprisingly fun and fairly swift.Found the seats good also.
A few years later suitably impressed I enjoyed the ownership of a low millage one owner mark 2 16 valver.
Blimmin' rust killed the thing though.

Going back to the CRX, the wheels were directional (sided) in the UK on both versions of the car with the 1.6i-16v engine (angular & rounded), until the VTEC-engined model was introduced (which had 4 identical alloy wheels).

Depends, Honda display it both ways.
Where do they use a hyphen? Not on the back of the car, like they do with e.g. a CR-V.And, yes, I know that's the later model, there was no hyphen on the Mk1.
Should have theses wheels:
