A car of that size cannot handle all of that power!

Blacken the grille, put a proper merc badge on and It'd look alright.

Strangely attracted to the AMG S version of this car. The Brabus is a step too far in terms of styling for me though
Agreed.

I like the look of these, though I've only ever seen AMG-line diesels out and about. I'd heard there was a GLC43 but didn't know they made a GLC63 as well.

Meanwhile those of us not hugging trees see a 600bhp V8..... biggrin
to be fair - it is all of those - pointless / too much power / vulgar / offensive - and also a cracking 600bhp v8 biggrin
Not a car I would buy (others I would choose first), but still love the madness of their doing it and would happily drive it!

A sober looking car from Brabus at last, I find most of their 'creations' hideous although you can't fault the engine work they do. No mention of price so that means it will be stratospheric not bad looking though.

The power kits stand-alone are about £6k fitted by an MB dealer.
Each to his own I guess but I can see why most AMG owners go with MSL or other tuning specialists.
Nowadays with turbo charged AMG's a straightforward re-mapp can put a really big grin on your face for about £400 and give you a significant hike in power.
Having said that the engine upgrade work that Brabus do is without doubt top class as is some but not all the other work they do.

I have had an MSL mapped car and it was great.

This time around I didn’t want to play warranty roulette.

Same with BMW

I could have had my 640d tweeked by DMS for c£600, but chose the £2,200 AC Schnitzer as it came with BMW warranty as well as ACS warranty.

I know it's off-topic but what did the upgrade end up getting you in terms of power/torque increase? I just had my 640d tweaked as well but I'm curious!

Tacky. No idea what the appeal is. A fast SUV - why? I got the appeal of the old Overfinch Range Rovers - they were a comedy - but these are just competent, big SUVs with a hard ride.

Surely the best idea would be to create a luxurious version of a car like this... Put in proper sound deadening, proper seats, proper trim, super soft suspension, double glazing.. That's something people would actually like. Not all this shouty wk.

Has anyone seen a Brabus recently?
I know they are a small manufacturer, but I haven't seen one for yonks.
I have seen acouple of Mercs with Brabus badges on, assumedly a tuning pack, but not the factory Full Fat versions.
How many a year do they actually sell in the UK?

I do every time i go in my garage.
It is 28 years old and only has 285bhp but it is a full factory car. From the days when Brabus cars were red

My CL65 was in for a service at Brooklands recently and this was parked next to it. It's a full fat Brabus, normally I don't like this sort of vehicle but the standard of engineering and finish on it was outstanding. I guess it should be for the price tag though.

I saw a blinged Range Rover (V8 Autobiography perhaps?) at the lights as I was waiting to go across a D/C the other day. It was making a lot of thunderous noise and when the lights went the nose lifted up like a dragster... to be honest the actual acceleration looked disappointing from where I was, but it was very amusing (probably not the intention).
I'd imagine the Brabus would be less amusing to watch though.

I wish someone would resolve the problem of the front tyres skipping on full lock at low speeds. When the diff was moved left to accommodate the right hand drive steering column, something screwed up the Ackerman angles yet MB hasn’t addressed it. Would have been an opportunity for Brabus to fix this.

Tested at 383bhp and 740Nm (c550 lb ft IIRC).

Difference on the road was significant.
