Total payable - A quarter of a Million quid
Total madness to my mind.
2 of the UK's first owners sum up the image of this - 'Lord' Aleem and the Yiannimize bloke.
If you want a bonkers fast family, dog in the boot, vehicle an RS6 or E63S will do that for a fraction of the price.
Forget the 'off road' bit. That won't ever happen except for a brief drive over the grass at little Calista's gymkhana.
Can I point out money its just money why does everyone focus on it so muchTotal madness to my mind.

Love that this car has so many people that are totally uninterested about such a 'monstrosity', they can't help telling the world how totally uninterested they are and listing all the reasons why they are so totally uninterested and how they are so totally uninterested in the kind of sub-human dreadful person that would consider owning such a totally uninteresting vehicle*
Personally, I think it looks great, the write-up makes it sounds great...and the V8 will without question sound even better.
(*usually whilst sat looking at their bargain basement £3k car on the drive that they paid for in full because only loserslease
finance, sorry 'rent' cars. )

Nice review, enjoyed reading that - Do like the back end, the fronts a little gash but that side profile is awful looking to me. Door handles look like they were missed off the design and quickly (badly) added in as an afterthought, one of those irritating details that draws my eye to them every time.
Its an odd car, i would very much like a go in one and think it would be laugh out loud funny to drive quickly on public roads - not sure if thats worth 200+K though.

Just what I've been waiting for. Finally there's a car on the road I can buy that will make me look like an even bigger c**t than I currently do in my Bentley Bentayga.
Don't worry. Your narrowmindedness, bitterness and the size of the chip on your shoulder already make you look like one without the help of any car.You said that before to me, and others. Can't you think of anything original to say?
The bile coming through in your post graphically illustrates the narrowmindedness, bitterness and chip on each shoulder that are your stock in trade.
Do yourself and everyone else a favour: either change the narrative or try not to post on any thread in which SUVs aren't being worshipped.
Or go and find another forum. You might like this one: http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.ph...
I probably said the same thing when faced with the same level of narrowmindedness, not really surprising. I am all for choice so I don't see how that makes me narrow minded.
But try and ignore my views and my posts if I upset you so much. I 'll do the same although your posts are very entertaining. Deal ?

If lamborghini (The company that still makes tractors) builds this and it makes them a lot of money so they can continue building their crazy supercars for the small few that can afford them, then fair play to Lamborghini!
I guarantee even the board of directors does not fully agree with the point of this car but from a business perspective (to make money) it needs to be done.

I love how people judge people by the cars they drive.
In the last 20 years I've owned (not financed or leased), but not limited to, the following:
e39 M5
550 Maranello
EVO 5 & 6
SL65 AMG
Cayenne Turbo
MX5
Lancia Integrale
1978 500SL
968CS
Renault Turbo2
964rs (should not have sold!!)
Ferrari 458
Lamborghini Gallardo
Porsche 996 Gt2
Bentley Bentayga
F355
Land Rover Defender 1982
It's very funny, in an utterly simplistic manner that people judge others by the cars they drive. Last week I drove the Bentley. 968CS and SL in the same day. None of the above were "Garage Queens" and all had (with the exception of the RT2) min.10k miles put on them by me/family and all were owned for between 2-20+ years (SL)
What does that make me in your ever so basic, stereotyping narrow mind? An utter C**t?

Some people just can’t help but, in their own minds, put themselves above others by listing all of the flash cars they’ve owned, designer watches they’ve worn or supermodels they’ve diddled.
Not sure that gives anyone presidence to comment on the validity of another’s point of view, but hey, every day is a day at school.
Anyhoo, I smiled when I read the article, knowing I could never afford a Urus, but also knowing it would never appeal to me one iota. But the real cause of my smile was that on the same page was an article about a Bentley Turbo R.
There’s an old saying that ‘You can’t buy class’, and I’d venture that if you pulled up at a swish London hotel or upmarket foreign resort in the Bentley (a nice example, not a crusty one) then
the enlightened onlooker might just give you the nod over the ‘new money / brash’ Urus owner.
Yep, two totally diffferent types of vehicles operating in different financial universes, but I’d take the Bentley any day. And a mint RR ‘classic’ 3.9 for when I REALLY wanted to go off road.
Off to put on my bullet-proof vest in anticipation of being shot to pieces...
I'm not a fan of this present generation of "Super SUVs" or SUVs in general. Having said that, I find this a lot less visually distressing than the levant, Bentley or RR offerings (all of which I fully understand why they exist, I'd just rather the current marketplace did not supply the demand for). Were I ever in the market for such a thing (/had the cash) it would however have to be a Holland and Holland range rover, which really is class.

I don't get all the hate?!?
Nor me. I don’t understand the hatred towards SUBs like this on here. Threads like this are full of people who have to make sure everyone knows they don’t like it. It becomes a willy waving competition about who can make the most passive aggressive comment. That, or someone has to say something like “I saw one of these parked next to my Mk1 Ford Focus today - I genuinely couldn’t differentiate between them until I saw the indicators flash when I unlocked it.”
But. Go to any thread about the new Suzuki Jimny and people are beside themselves to say how much they love it. I don’t see comments from those who don’t like that on there.
I think the Urus is lovely. As I do the Bentayga. I’m holding judgement on the Cullinan until I see one in the flesh.

Neither can I, but I'm delighted that this and other Lamborghini's exist.
The world would be a duller place of we all drove round in last generation hot hatches.

Exactly. I can't understand how less choice can be a good thing. I don't understand negativity in general either anyway.Neither can I, but I'm delighted that this and other Lamborghini's exist.

It's dull because it's a Volkswagen. It's ridiculous because it has a lambo badge.
It'll sell like mad but pollute one of vag's most unique brands for a pointless short term cash grab.
Sickeningly cynical product.
I think they're my thoughts, too. Can't love it because it's a parts bin special. It'll sell like mad but pollute one of vag's most unique brands for a pointless short term cash grab.

A Lamborghini deserves a Lamborghini chassis.
