So lovely they wouldn't even take my deposit!!! Haven't these manufacturers heard of customers, only wealthy repeat collectors and speculators, I wan't this to use regularly on the road for at least two years till the next model and evolution of this is available! But they get to choose whether you are permitted by them to buy one? Bizarre!!!!

That's been the way of things for years now when it comes to limited edition 'halo' models.

500 or so cars is tiny so Ferrari can afford to limit allocations to very good repeat customers so they stay that way.

Good question. I suspect so, but they're certainly taking their time compared to the 650S > 650S spider, I think.

I was informed on a 650S thread that the spider out sold the coupe by a significant margin, 4-1 was quoted, so I cannot see McLaren ignoring those numbers.

Good looking car this by the way but I think I still prefer the Speciale Aperta overall.

Pretty much every car in the Ferrari range at the moment gives me a semi. Technically perfect cars.
