Not OEM as they are OZ's but they were on F1 GTR road cars. cloud9

I love 5 spokes, Speedlines on 355 Challenges also look fantastic. Would love a set for my car but they are like rocking horse scensorede in Elise sizes!
Agreed. Ive got black Speedlines (15”) on my Caterham. Generally I don’t like black wheels but as Speedlines they just work.

Candidates for the best: BMW E34 M5 turbine wheels

Lancia seemed to get it just right many times. Integrale...

Delta S4...

037...

And a Japanese take on the turbine wheel:

Fond of these because they remind me of my first car (a Lancer GTi rather than the Colt shown above)

Any good looking 50’s or 60’s sports car on a decent set of wires especially one of the exotics on a set of borrani wheels

My set of centre laced wires, now removed and sitting on the garage floor as they look cool but make the car handle like a supermarket trolley smile

Are you sure that's the right pic, and not plastic trims on steels?

Some that I love, Porsche's mag wheels:

What a lovely looking wheel that is, perfect I every way, even like the bronze finish.

I also love these... although I respect their very different wheels I love them all the same

Theyre a neat engineering solution, but they look gash. BMW remedied this with the later 'Throwing Stars' covers on the same wheel.

Have always loved these:

Understated elegance with suggestion of power befitting of Aston Martin.

Add my vote to remove all modern diamond-cut spindly edged black wheels from the road too. These, for instance:

I realy like these on certain cars (Cosworth Monte for one). The wheels on the A1 Quattro are similar and look great too.

In standard 16 inch size they look a bit weedy nowadays.
Go for the repro 18s instead.
