I don't like wheels that are too fussy - 5 spokes are enough.

(mk3 wheels on a mk1 MR2)
IMO that needs either a smaller wheel and chunkier tyre, or a much chunkier tyre. Doesn't really suit it.
I like it. Looks good to me.

Peugeot wheels, especially on their current SUV range look cheap and nasty.

I like the classic wheels of Renault Alpine GTA Le Mans.

I don't like those, or the similar BBS wheels, where the inner parts of the spokes are filled in. It looks dreadful to me.

Agreed, I had a valver in exactly the same colour. First car to bring a proper smile to my face.

I think we can safely say that wheels are very subjective and what looks rubbish in isolation often looks good on a period correct car.

I really like the Insignia VXR Ariel wheels for my sins, they are genuinely different and suits the design of the car.

The Xr3/i is a classic

I think we all agree a silver multispoke looks great on a lot of cars, i particularly like the AMG Line offerings on a CLS

The wheels on the Fulvia are as achingly beautiful as the rest of it

I have to say for a modern dark/diamond cut wheel this is one of the nicest and so suits the car in the std size

Always thought these were a decent design;

Modern(ish) but they're actually quite an old wheel.

Bonus points to anyone who can say what car they are from ...

Much nicer than the hideous optional Lamborghini style ones!

A few favourites are the wheels on the Alfa 159 ti

And going a bit "retro", the wheels on the 205 GTi 1/9/309 GTi, BBS wheels on the Golf GTi 16v and I even liked the 3-spokes on the Saab 900 Turbo and Fiesta RS Turbo (but they look awful on most cars).

The Octavia vRS wheels mentioned above are particularly horrible (shame because I really liked the wheels on the mk1 vRS) but most of the wheels on the new Golf Rs do nothing for me.

But the 19" Pretoria wheels are quite nice.

Nope. Not a Vauxhall/ GM product.

Further clue - wheels are from 06 onwards.

Do you want to try again or shall I just tell you ?
