My son in law turned up in this

What were they thinking putting these wheels on there?

Bet it rides nicely though. Do look crap, mind. hehe

I do like the Velar but it certainly needs big wheels for me and I've seen a few of them on those tiny wheels. As has been mentioned I bet it does ride lovely though.

As you can't see the wheels while driving the car I know which I would choose.

Ford are one of those companies that turn-out everything, from the absolutely stunning one minute, to letting the work experience lad "design" these the next:

In my experience, those are the work of someone with considerable experience who was just bored and wanted to "try something different" and nobody wanted to stop him.

The work-experience trainee will just pick up the CAD mouse and draw a five-spoke wheel with soft radii between the hub and spoke and spoke and rim.

The KA ones that spell the model name are gopping, but very clever.

Was thinking the same. I don't like them but I do admire the fact they were created.

Never seen them in the wild which is a bit surprising see as it felt like 1 in 4 cars on the road was Ka at one point.

Funny flicking back through this thread.

Lots of people recommending their own cars wheels as the best ever despite them being either meh or terrible.

Also the fact people were lamenting black wheels with diamond cut faces and hoping for the trend to end soon. 5 years later and it seems that every car comes factory fitted with them now.

Jaguar XK8 'Webbed feet' wheels. The most awful looking wheel I know of.

There are quite a few flat faced aero EV wheels that could go here now as bad designs. V 02's BMW wheel to start it.

Been posted before, but a bit of self whoring doesn’t hurt.

Silver Turini’s on Cup 172’s are one of the ultimate OEM’s. In fact Turini’s suit most cars imo.
